I plan to purchase ETFs after I take profit on my NVDA stock. So on last Thursday after LSE opened I bought 0.03 fractional shares of $VUSD etf worth about 2.59usd for fun and to look at the process and fees involved. Then I notice my average price was 143usd while the etf was trading at at 86 something USD.my market value is at 2.59 while cost basis 4.30usd. seems like commission for ucits etf is kinda high and I wonder if it's not worth it to buy in fractional shares. Any thoughts?

Jukaicot I myself just started with RSP for ETFs.  My LSE Ucits ETF has not been deducted yet--will only happen next month, so can't tell. But for QQQ, the brokerage fee is $0.5 and not $0.35  like some mentioned  here for RSP (regular savings plan). Started with small amount as wanted to see the charges etc.  Looks like your fees around USD1.71 without RSP.

I don't think my broker which is interactive brokers has a RSP.Need to manually buy .May I know what broker you're using? Yes for ucits etf the fees is 1.70usd for tiered plan pricing.kinda expensive if compared to us domiciled etf but with 30% tax on dividends it's not worth it unless it's a non dividend paying etf.but then again interactive brokers fee are the lowest.

Jukaicot I am using IBKR for RSP. Go to the trade tab and choose recurring investment. Let us know whether it's $0.35 or some other figure for LSE or US ETF if you want to do RSP. I just don't get it why my charges are more expensive. I tried with a small amount, so there's no excuse that fees higher because sum invested higher.

I guess I'll give RSP a try although I only deposit once a month and most are for stocks.only just started with etf.will be adding more to vusd and start buying vwrd
