maybe the game is shaded by those blockbusters out there. but i think internationally wise, bioshock doesn't seem to have low publicity to me. lol...

haha...securerom is easier to crack compared to the long hated starforce f***ers. there's no point doing this. they can only stop noob pirates, well, for like 5 minutes. laugh.gif

looks like i'm gonna skip this ori purchase brows.gif. thanks 2k! helped saving my cash.

meh. i've blacklisted 2k games like those EA dumbarse.
i wonder how it could get rated 10/10 over some sites. 100% overrated and hyped. maybe the gameplay scores, but this minor thought for PC users arent there, and should cut some marks off. or maybe the high rating is for consoles, and people who refused to move on (widescreen).

*moved attention to other more interesting & user friendly games.

we shouldnt be hacking the game in order to play in widescreen. at least for what we have paid for a game. hacking for WS is for yesterday games which has no WS support. but nowadays we still need a hack to play in WS is a joke.

field of vision. or something like that.
some developers tried to follow our human nature FOV in their FPS games. but some games dont, and those game made some sensitive players dizzy and puke. laugh.gif

played the demo. basic demo impression: not good and overhyped. i don't know how this game could even score more than 7 over 10.

Graphics:
Yeah, it is not a jaw-dropping-graphic game. just so so graphics looks a lil dated plus have some brighter version of doom 3 feel. the water effect (which is most important since we are surrounded by water in Rapture) are just typical. some earlier games could easily surpass this area. Nothing eye catching. Maybe I dont like their so called "art".

Gameplay:
The "innovative" gameplay which is advertised almost everywhere. Yeah, you can set ppl on fire or shock them, hack the bots...I dont feel like those are something new and fun to play with. Setting people on fire in postal was more amusing and I could even pee on their dead bodies. tongue.gif albeit not from my fingers (both fire or pee laugh.gif). Maybe other 70+ plasmids, trap settings; as promised in the full game will open up more fun stuff. We shall see. I just dont feel satisfied killing my enemies/splicers with either the plasmid ability or firearms. It doesn't look painful enough. AI wasn't very decent in the demo. It might be splicers are dumb anyways. Rag doll physics weren't spectacular. And no impressive blood when I keep raping...i mean wrenching the dead bodies.
No inventory? come on. I can keep my guns and first aid kits, why not the food and drinks?

Sound:
Sfx and music are okay. Nothing stunning here. Things sound like as they should in real life. Firefights and plasmids dont sound that explosive hence reduced some immersive experience.

Overall:
I would give this game 6/10 as presented in the demo. Gaming experience wasn't that great and immersive. I dont feel like I'm in danger and satisfaction from killing your foes are minimal. Game performance is OK on my rig, considering this isn't a "graphics" game. Apart from these, there's also issues with Widescreen (w/o hacking) and rootkit conspiracy as mentioned earlier in this thread.

Disclaimer:
My comments and ratings do not represent the full game though. Because I haven't played it. It is based on the demo version with everything from graphics and audio set to highest possible.
Edit: Different people have different tastes on games. And this game is just not my type.

This is a screenshot i took using fraps hehe.

The game was very good in terms of graphics, storyline, music, audio, scenry/atmosphere. I was also rather disturbed when going through the medical pavilion in chapter 2.

he is using 8500 bro. 8500 sucks in gaming. it is mostly used for watching Hd movies only. not intended for gaming.
