Hi Arvinaaaaa, since you did a full review of the Z5, I was wondering if you could provide me with some suggestions.
I was looking at the ASUS G551 all along until I stumbled onto this beast here.
With the Z5, I would obviously need to top up with Windows OS and some minor improvements, bringing the total costs to around RM4300.
My question is, is it worth it compared to paying around RM3200 for the G551, bearing in mind I'm not a heavy gamer (just want a good specs laptop that can last me awhile).
I really like the looks of the Z5 but is that justifiable for paying that extra RM1100?

Conclusion: rm4300 is too much for the z5 compared to the g551jm which is rm1100 cheaper..rm3799 is ok..so IF I WERE U I WOULD GO FOR G551JM, coz u want ori windows Im assuming.

Ps, im not a heavy gamer too..but the z5 is irresistible for me la..but the g551jm is a looker too smile.gif do ask if u not sure of anything

Yeah I think it comes down to what I use the laptop mainly for.
If I'm not gonna be gaming hardcore, there is no real point in getting the Z5 is it? Except for it's really juicy look brows.gif
Does 2GB and 4GB graphics differ by a lot? Sorry coz I'm a noobie when it comes to things like this.
I do prefer to use the original Windows that's why the Z5 would blow a big hole in my budget!

Not interested in the Lenovo coz I heard a lot of heating problems.
How does AW14 comapre against the G551? Didn't do much research on that... hmm.gif

Since the track-pad and back cover have red LED back-lights, I reckon something of a different contrast will look nicer brows.gif

Same problem I'm having at the moment, the fonts appear so bloody small!

I've had my Z5 for almost a week now and everything seems to be going along smoothly.
No heating issues whatsoever and this beast is as cool as a cucumber rclxms.gif

I remember when I first bought my Z5, one of the right USB 3.0 couldn't detect anything.
What I did was plug in an old wired mouse for it to auto detect and then it started working again.
Sounds like a problem there...
