i a new owner

the lewt delivered to opis earlier today, then i got complained about behaving like a small kiddie when i saw it

need to slot in additional SSD for OS and everything would be perfect...

unsure about Q5 but from owning Z5 for a month, it is a wonderful machine with solid reatures. the main selling point over other conventional notebook is:



i installed my extra mSATA, and i still have valid warranty (unless i managed to scratch and damaged the codes )

i am currently using the 960gt variant (1TB hdd) for work with games installed (mostly done in virtualbox becuz required win xp) but i did compared both before the purchase:

- Q5 has built in DVD-R/W, Z5 requires external writer
- Q5 has custom back light and key, Z5 has white back light (counting out the red light on cover)
- Q5 has better speaker, but Z5 has sub woofer
- Q5 has 6 cells battery, Z5 using 8 cells battery
- Q5 is 2.5kg, Z5 is 2.4kg (it's still heavy is you are carrying it every working day )
- Q5 can do paint job for better looks, Z5 is default *sigh*
- Q5 is slightly smaller than Z5
- Q5 utilize M.2, Z5 use mSATA

Z5's frame made my colleagues knew obviously i bought a gaming notebook for work, with the justification that 'games requires juices so it's better overall, in spec...', plus i won't be able to meet with customers

currently i'm using a bag brought and meant to fit 14" compaq notebook. it can't really fit into the notebook compartment, i place it on the storage area (which enabled me to carry both notebooks in 1 single bag.)

if you are planning to choose a bag for 14" notebook, but still plan to use it, be sure to avoid oval shaped bags; it seems trendy, but eventually it would lose out, storage wise
