but some on internet saying the problem is because of this stwrt64.sys  and Rtnic64.sys driver become old for windows 8.1. And required to update tht driver to become compatible with windows 8.1.

and when I google about the driver above. And stwrt64.sys driver is the High Definition Audio Driver. So try updating that audio driver and the rtnic64.sys is the Realtek driver. So problem is with them actually. So maybe the driver didnt found the hardware component or other related stuffs.

Collected my z5 yesterday from Illegear. Just installed win 8.1 pro so far no problem yet, cooling is amazing no sound at all, right now installing  Far Cry 4 lets see the gameplay. And having doubt in gpu. Currently no gamme playing so it's showing intel hd graphics ... but will it change it self to nvidia when start game?? . Everything is awesome except  the num key is not enable when starting OS so become hard sometimes. Anyone knows how to make it enable as default. TQ

Forgot to mention battery.Battery is beyond my expectation. Because my old laptop once battery full then itwill say batterry full and keep on charging but  z5 stick on 99% and not touching 100% when connected

Dear all, the BSoD issue hit me up again. This time I got BSOD when I trying to boot up my system. I power up device , after BIOS screen it goes blackout and a moment later got BSOD message. Anyone experiencing similar issue?

So bottom line, if you have Mionet, or WinpkFilter, uninstall either of them. If you have WinpkFilter as opposed to Mionet, you may need to rename it instead by navigating to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers and find and rename ndisrd.sys to ndisrd.old, and then restart the computer.

However I couldn't really understand what he's trying to tell me. He mentioned WinpkFilter, could it be the RealSpeed Utility that cause the problem?

are you guys using hybrid drive? I heard hybrid drive have crashing issue.

By right bsod should not even occur for a new laptop, not even once..if occur either software (pirated version of windows) or hardware failure (if this is the case go straight to illegear)..

Couldnt be driver issue coz i install all drivers normally on a PIRATED VERSION of windows 7 (using removewat to activate it) and no bsod so far..so for those who got bsod, u know what to do

Very true..i know windows 8 got shitload of problems, deswai i use win 7 until windows 10 release..but if its a hardware problem, im sure illegear will solve it asap...what im more afraid is when windows 10 release, all of us r probably gonna upgrade to it, hopefully the drivers illegear release are compatible and no bsod in windows 10

Okay. I found out that I installed both Intel PROset Wireless software and the Realtek Wireless LAN Driver. Do you guys install the Realtek Wireless LAN Driver? I just did uninstalling yesterday and no problem yet so far.

Cannot bro..only got the disable the usbcharge in bios..no other options
Reason for i want to disable the webcam and turbo boost is im not using them alot and disabling both might extend the battery life a little bit

Intel Turbo Boost can be easily disabled with some trick. Kindly pm me for more info.

As for the webcam, turning it off won't save the battery life much.

Hey I still getting few BSOD everyday like kernel data inpage error, critical process died, 0x000021a and 0x0000135. Tried to find minidump in windows but cant find any, tried chkdsk, sfc scannow and memory diagnostic but return no problem. What should i do now?

It depends. Mostly i get it at least 3-5 BSOD a day. Even tried reinstall windows and without any software when installing drivers also encounter BSOD. Haiz.

Decided to get a Z5 to replace my Y410P.
Fell for the design and great cooling system.

Not exactly a heavy gamer hence 860M should last me for a good 3-4 years.
