You can PM Prince J or search through ILLEGEAR thread for the screen shot. I remember Prince J did a benchmark test on both laptop.

I get 68 degree C max on BF4, COD AW high settings 1080p with max fan speed. It is during the first 6 months of the laptop. Now it will be around 70-75 because I didn't do any dust cleaning and thermal paste reapply.

GTX960m 2gb or 4gb will not do much different IMO, cause you won't be playing Witcher 3 on ultra or high settings. Only at those settings it requires higher vram as there are more shader, light effect etc etc. On Medium settings 2gb will be sufficient.

How long you're going to be in HK ? I will pick other laptop with International Warranty so that if the laptop really went wrong, you have someone to help you to service / fix it. Don't be 100% sure on the quality cause every brands have lemon unit and sh*t happen.

If I want to get ILLEGEAR, I will pick Clevo model like S5 or Q5 cause oversea have Clevo authorized service provider (PM Prince J to verify whether they allow it or not)

Well you can still get Z5 tho, just a matter you want to gamble your luck or not smile.gif

Well what I mean is, if you purchase ILLEGEAR Clevo based laptop with 1 year warranty, the first year you may need to be tied to the services provided by ILLEGEAR, after that you may seek for other Clevo based company in oversea.

You will feel more at ease to let those technician which has experience dealing with Clevo based laptop than those without. IIRC, some oversea laptop company is providing services to Clevo based laptop. They are also a rebrand of Clevo like ILLEGEAR

Either the color calibration is not suitable for you, or your brightness / contrast is not suitable for you.
If you're referring to the "Blur font" of some windows which make you feel dizzy, it is an issue in Windows 8 or 8.1.
You need to change your display to 100% or Small to make everything sharp

Erm.. when you said it is not sharp, do you encounter some blurry font on some windows ? If so change ur display settings to 100%. Google it or search through this thread, we mentioned it a lot of time.

If it is color calibration problem, no need to reinstall windows 7, just calibrate the color again to suits your eye.

If you're using Win8 or 8.1, do a FULL SCAN using Windows Defender. It is built in antivirus software. Uninstall your browser completely and reinstall back using the official link from the respective browser site. Download AdBlock plugin to block those ads which sometimes will redirect you to other site.

If it still doesn't solve your problem, the safest way is to perform a reformat

Normal is fine. But make sure you perform a FULL SCAN on all your HDD or SSD partition.

I recommend use Windows Defender is sufficient. If you want to use Windows Defender, you need to turn off / deactivate the other anti virus first, then enable Windows Defender back. There should be a menu to switch windows defender on, try google it.

If nothing detected, run a malware test and install ads block plugin in your browser. Sometimes it is not virus but those ads which redirect you to other sites. The easiest way to solve this is to reformat then make a recovery DVD or partition, so next time you can revert back to it.

Normally FULL SCAN on each HDD partition take about 30min - 2hrs subjected to your HDD capacity and usage.
