Try to play in fullscreen rather than windowed borderless. I don't know why but when I'm playing COD AW or BF4 in borderless window mode, my fps drop by few points, 5-10 fps drop.

It fixed already, I set the Compatibility Mode to windows 7 .

Open your Nvidia GeForce Experience.. See the game lists? Choose gta v press optimize, before you do press the "wrench button" adjust the to optimize section then launch game. It should be better that way.. Don't do the setting yourself if you're not so sure your gpu can handle it or not.. Let the AI do it for you It shud be fine reaching about 5xfps and above

Never had that problem yet on mine. If you are downloading from skidrow you need to check the compatibility settings and the check which gpu the game using (sometime launcher will run on intel if not recognized the game). Seems you already fixed the problem. Cheers

Nvidia Experience is not recognizing ahem ahem (pirated) version of GTA V. But no probs at all.

you can make it launch fullscreen by default from the 3dm.script file beside gtav.exe type in "-fullscreen".

I know its a noob question. But sifu here i wonder if its without cd drive. How do i install os into z5? and like the game cod all hav to download from internet. I reckon it will take atleast 1 day right?

does it mean i must hav another pc, create virtual drive. Load everything there. And transfer to external hdd, and then from external hdd run it and install to z5?

I wanna be hassle free to install all those os.and microsoft office into it.

Yes, that's the only way you can do..
If not then you can either borrow an optical drive from someone or buy one yourself for maybe future use too?

Few options:
1) Get an external CD/DVD drive. It should be around RM50-200 depends on which type you bought it. Forget about Bluray read/write drive, it is too expensive.
2) Get the file into an external HDD or pendrive. Install it via the external HDD.

Games shouldn't be a problem cause nowadays most people purchase digital copy, seldom people are using CD/DVD already. Same goes to Microsoft Office or similar software. Most of the people are using digital copy already.
So if you got a slow internet speed, you need to endure the slow download time then.

thanks for ur advices. last dummy qs. Any promo lately for the z5. Its very tempting. I saw on the website it only provides 960 or gtx970. How come in the previous page i read some1 can upgrades to gtx965 (i was spending 2hrs to read the previous pages) i think i m poisoned by z5.

If u have budget, get the Gtx970 , if not settle for GTX960. GTX965 is not worth to invest in.

Cause IIRC the only gtx965m laptop is MSI GE62. Z5 I haven't heard of that variant yet. IMHO, either stick to budget gpu gtx960m, or buck up to RM5k+ to get gtx970m. Don't stay in the middle.

Well, the price u can refer to their website. Gtx970m min 5k, gtx960m 4.2k. May I know what is your budget actually? As I say, if out if budget, just get gtx960m, lower down the setting for high demanding game. =)

Nvm la.. Just live on with your current laptop lo... Next machine can consider illegear ald...

i ll be joining the Z5 family in the coming days. Z5 is too tempting compare to other brands.
