Yeap, that's why I compare them since they are in the same range.. Playing GTA v right now with 60fps on my z5 gpu at 65C

But 3gb ram of GPU is not enough to play gta v at it's max performance.

Your gpu is gtx970m right ? No choice though, cause 6gb vram gtx970m variant can't fit into Z5.

I'm no audiophile and I don't use speakers that much (on my audio-technica headphones most of the time), how do I know if my subwoofer is working? Feel the hardware for vibration?

I like those patterns very much.

Once you plug in your headphones, the speakers and subwoofer are disabled.

Obviously, everybody knows this. I meant to say, since I don't use speakers and sub-woofers all that much hence the lack of familiarity with those, and assuming there are no headphones plugged in, how do I know if the sub-woofer is working?

homies, unlike the lenovo y50, z5 doesnt havea separate volume rocker for the subwoofer...the subwoofer is considered under the 2 main speakers, NOT SEPARATE...like in the g55vw.

u will notice the left side slightly louder than the right side, coz the sub is there..thats all.

i repeat, NO separate volume rocker for the sub..u cant off the sub manually

You can upgrade your MSATA SSD, HDD, SSD and RAM in the Z5 in the future

If not mistaken yours already applied with IC Diamond, IC Diamond can last at least 1.5 years for single application.
