Ok first of all..how future proof u want ur laptop to be? Coz g551jm is 2gb graphics while z5 is 4gb graphics..its not a big matter tho, as u said u are not a heavy gamer..

Second..u dont mind using ahem ahem version of windows? U can get base spec of z5 at 3799 and wait patiently until windows 10..sure got promotion when launch just like windows 8 when launch..right now im using ahem ahem version of windows 7 ultimate.no problem so far..if u want to know more about it, pm me.

I know the two above points is siding the z5..but it all comes down to your budget..if i were u and i want to use ori version of windows, i would have got the asus because rm 4300 for the z5 is too much for me..but since im using not ori version, i could up my budget a little bit and get the basic spec z5...

Conclusion: rm4300 is too much for the z5 compared to the g551jm which is rm1100 cheaper..rm3799 is ok..so IF I WERE U I WOULD GO FOR G551JM, coz u want ori windows Im assuming.

Ps, im not a heavy gamer too..but the z5 is irresistible for me la..but the g551jm is a looker too do ask if u not sure of anything

Yeah I think it comes down to what I use the laptop mainly for.
If I'm not gonna be gaming hardcore, there is no real point in getting the Z5 is it? Except for it's really juicy look
Does 2GB and 4GB graphics differ by a lot? Sorry coz I'm a noobie when it comes to things like this.
I do prefer to use the original Windows that's why the Z5 would blow a big hole in my budget!

Also since u orefer ori windows..looks like u got no choice but to go for the g551jm, aw 14 at rm3600 from our member silrave, or lenovo y50 3700+

Not interested in the Lenovo coz I heard a lot of heating problems.
How does AW14 comapre against the G551? Didn't do much research on that...

4GB vs 2GB vram for maxwell GTX860m, no significant gain in performance.
Its just a marketing gimmick.

G551 with new maxwell GTX860m perform better with lower power consumption vs AW14 with kepler GTX765m.

include IC diamond themal compound and Professional Color Calibration?
Cause i go to the website.. It said nid add RM99..
same goes to Professional Color Calibration RM49..

The basic model is RM3799, as you customize and add stuff, the price goes up
