I not able to help you on this as I just into this game 1-2 months ago. For me, even with the newer units like Vishra, Grybe and etc - I fuse them away.

The extra spaces, I used the hard earn gem to expand it.

Personally I felt it is better to expand the space rather than spend them on summon unless it is SRS.

I just my 2nd Summon Ticket n get Naruza. 1st got me a freaking 3rd Sodis. But I wan Electric gun guy.
