I've send aticket to Blizz with all the informations they want, computer, etc
i've done a pathping which is a test of the route from your computer to the server.
computer, modem, routeur, ISP, ISP's partner in Asia's d3 server, then to d3 server
you can do the same by following this:
https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/ru...a-pathping-testtracert:
https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/pe...ng-a-traceroutewhat came out was that from my computer to modem to routeur to ISP (in that case IPTV) connection is 100% fine, no problem, that's the path of internet within Malaysia.
The issue comes after that with the partner's of IPTV in the related country.
Most likely IPTV/TIME is using cheap cable stuff with their partner abroad.
I've called IPTV and truly yelled at them because they don't understand anything, took me an hour at least to get to speak the same language as the person "in charge".
Eventually they understood, I've provided all the information above (tracert and pathping) by email, wecare@astro.com.my
That was today, now they said will need 24/48 hours to get to a higher tech supervisor to see what they can do, if they can do anything.
Most likely not much. I'm thinking to change ISP.
For those of you who don't have trouble, which ISP are you using?
From my side, problems are from 5pm to midnight, after this come back to green.
1am to 5pm is 80% of the time in the green area.
not saying 299ms is green area and already can't play at all!
around 80/120 would be fine.
Always green latency...
When I was using UNIFI VIP5, I always get red latency starting from 9:30pm to like 2am... Upgraded to VIP10... Problems solved
