It's same bank but different entity....

1 Conventional, 1 islamic.

But the cheapest rate is 4,5% pa for 24 months.

12 month BT = 1% interest per month.

currently got promo 0% for 12 months
just wanna give a try for test my luck

The 24 months one more interesting then.

And I thought without promo, is 1% per month?

Or at least, the forms said so.
*
the promo is only for 0% easypay for 12 months
the rest of that is normal charge, without promo

3% one time is more or less equivalent to 0.25% per month, flat
as for 24 months is 0.375% per month, or compounding based on monthly balance if not meet minimum payment

12 months is more preferable.

Mine is 6 months but that was in April, so I will re-apply again in September or something like that. I still don't need this card at the moment.
Not necessary. Many reasons, a quick search on this topic and you will see many got rejected even though with clean record.

just got mine 2 days ago...got m2c and apply ikhwan...
weird mbb reject this card application despite clean record...

but my salary masuk mbb, i apply dunid provide payslip...just goto any branch then 1 week, got my card ady...

maybe, just maybe (my personal opinion), Maybank tend to approve for those who have outstanding balance, for example as B below?
u see, bank normally gain profit via interest, therefore:

a. People using CC with clean record, enjoy benefit without any late payment - no profit to bank
b. People using CC with average record, enjoy benefit but sometimes paying minimum and sometimes full - good for bank. they can rolling more on interest with this secured customer
c. People using CC with bad record, enjoy benefit but so much miss payment - bad customer. no point of charging interest when no payment is made.

guys
i had a complication here

should i apply for conversion and apply with balance transfer 0.375% p.m for rm10k/24 months

or

should i apply for conversion, transfer full amount, and apply balance transfer promotion with 0% for rm10k/12 months

or is there any chance for maybank to automatically convert my application to promotion terms n condition?

0% for 12 months got 3% upfront charges.
If you think you can settle quickly, then you should go 24 months, which can be terminated anytime.
*
but 0.375% per annum is 4.5%.
i thought the 12 months package is much more better?

i see
i forgot that 12 months is actually charging a flat rate interest of 3%
whereas the 24 months is actually charging 0.375% based on reducing balance.

24 months although annum is 4.5%, but if you can confident that settle in 6-7 months, interest paid definitely lesser than 12 months one. Unless you BT to public bank which offer truly 0%.
*
ya good suggestion
will proceed with the 24 months first
and then initiate 2nd balance transfer to Public Bank

fruitie, may I know why my statement in Maybank2u is still blank?

I converted from Mbb2kard to ikhwan by balance transfer for 24 months, approved on 22nd September. But until now my statement is still rm0

Do I need to wait until statement date?
