I just made another call to Maybank to understand further. Finally, they revealed the reason for my rejection and I'm not able to appeal due to this reason. So, I have no choice but to wait till it passes the cooling period which is 6 months later.

My reason was high exposure. In layman term, my income is too low to have two separate credit limits la. They evaluate my income vs my spending and commitment and I guess they feel that I cannot afford to pay them back. I responded that I have never owed Maybank a single cent so far, I don't see why I should be rejected. The guy kept apologizing and said it is management's decision.

1- Yes, mine was same day but not less than 3-4 hours. But I don't think it works on weekends already.
2- Yes, mine it's affected by my credit limit of Maybank 2 card. If I remembered correctly RM2-3k credit limit for plat card lol.

1k sufficient for ikhwan rebate cap, some more plan to use for petrol and groceris only, but mainly petrol for friday.

now only got chance to drop by maybank branch ba~ but the timing friday n sat is abit cacat i feel. need time to get used to it.

Swipe on groceries then, this is the reason why I apply for it. So I can sell groceries to make money.
