TM and Astro, two of the more expensive bills to pay  Sam accepting cc is definitely a bonus.

1) bring the hardcopy bill statement?
2) they need to scan the barcode printed on the statement, issit?
3) wonder if we can pay x-amount, e.g. RM300 one-shot, instead of bill amount? 

Yes. He was wearing Maybank shirt and holding transformer figurine. It's for new Maybank customers only which I'm not, so I'm not entitled for any free gift. That's not a big issue for me because I don't need it.

Only after he has filled in the application for me, he started pushing in PBB to me. He begged me because he will get commission. I declined and said unless he gives me PBB VS which I know impossible because my income hasn't reached yet. Then, he didn't give up and brought BSN form and said the same thing to me again. I said no.

Really scary. I got his business card before I left in case I have any dispute in the future. He's from Uni Global Solution Sdn Bhd, even on the card is printed with Direct Sales Agency of Maybank but promoting other banks at the same time.

been chatting with Sam's Groceria rep over FB about utility bill payment there...

1) Sam's accepts payment for Celcom, U Mobile, RedTone, Astro, and TM only.

2) About TM, Sam's have been accepting all TM bills, as long as the server is linked.

3) About TNB, right now Sam's have facing technical glitch with TNB billing system and as such, cannot accept this bill for payment. Only when TNB sort it, then they are good to go.

4) Sam's accepts payment using Credit Cards and Touch 'n Go cards.

5) About bringing hardcopy bill statement, NOT required. You can show the eBill and do ensure the account number is correct before you make the payment.

i'm still waiting Sam's to reply my questions about service charge/fee and member points eligibility too

Wait, have you tried applying one first? Who knows they give it to you without splitting any limit or you asking for RM 1k.

Not necessary. I used to apply 5 cards at one goal and all approved early this year.
