So me too planning to head on this card but problem is i just got my hlb essential approved (didn't even applied for it...they said the application was automatic when i applied for their PL )

Currently holding M2C and since i don't wanna jeopardise my ikhwan application, planning to terminate this hlb essential very soon....with unlimited 1% cb i think this card is considered hopeless

HLB Essential is good for others expenses such as insurance etc. Don't think it will affect your application due to many cards.

actually it is wrong for the banks to say the application automatic with PL. you can report this to bank negara if you want to, and get it terminated/withdrawn.

my application is approved, i received sms on last thursday.

they will pos the card or i pickup from nearby bank?

What did you fill in for Delivery Address? That's where the card will be.

im not sure, the agent fill up the form for me, but i think it is my home address. thanks anyway.

Agree, HLB Essential is a good "dan lain lain" card. Too bad my application got rejected. =(

With me just a small salary earner, just wonder how will bank categorised me as when thay see my CCRIS huhuhu.

I think la kan...maybe with 1 card less, the chances is there for the card to get approve hahaha....dreaming
Mind u....really desperate to get this card worr but after november lah...after clearing up my PL with hlb (yeahh...another effort to tidy up my CCRIS report)

Anyway, thanks for the info yaa....never knew it was wrong practice by the bank..

Just make it a practice to clear off the CC monthly statement and you will be fine.

Yeaa...already on that...have never given a cent to bank so far
But reading from forumers experience here (especially fruitie...hi there!), chances of getting rejected still high

You guys need to understand. Less card approval = less cashback to be given out by the bank

They don't want too many MBB2 AMEX holders to migrate to this card.

All you have to do is fill up the conversion form, and they're screwed still

You're no wrong unless you fill up that form.
