May I know the rebate quota cycle was following calender month cycle or statement cycle.

When the rebate will be credited. Is It same with Mbb2card?

Funny when I went to Maybank klcc, the staff still insist on pay slip and epf even though I'm an existing Maybank cc owner
Then I went to Kota kwmuning branch, still same answer given

Time to split limit, if you are a holder of M2C.

Are you existing maybank card holder? If yes then can try to split limit, just to filled up an application form and no payslip required

Newbie here, considering to get this MC to replace/combine with existing M2C (AMEX) hmm.gif
Understand that the 5% rebate is applicable for petrol and groceries on Friday and Saturday, but what are the categories for "groceries" in general?
Can any sifu explain? blush.gif notworthy.gif

They're track using MCC. It's hard to define.

Groceries are everything from grocer to hypermarkets. Departmental stores are not classified.

Basically your daily supplies and consumables.

ah ok, thank you for your reply... biggrin.gif
Based on current usage of existing M2C (AMEX), I would say mainly used on petrol and departmental store...
Groceries, zero record... Wonder if worth getting this, any advise? hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif

Why not? You need to reload TnG right? Some places consider TnG as groceries. smile.gif

Provided that you reload at Sam Groceria or Jaya Grocer.

And certain petrol stations, Giant or Tesco.

Details: refer to TnG thread.

I'm aware of that discussion @ TnG thread. Any idea this MC will bundle with any freebies if applied successfully? Or MBB always no freebies...? sweat.gif

No free gift one la, unless you can find a booth.
You better pray that your application will be approved. smile.gif

I think shouldn't be an issue on the approval since already own M2C (also recently terminated my backup SCB MC)...
Looks like this is the only ideal CC for 5% CB, will head to The Gardens and apply this MC over the weekend, thanks blush.gif

There are rejections as well, though owning MBB2Cards. Besides me, there are others as well that got rejected. Of course our record is clean. Other banks approved mine but not Ikhwan. laugh.gif
Anyway, I will reapply again.

Good luck to your application. wink.gif
