QUOTE(Ricky300 @ Jul 23 2015, 02:22 PM) I visited and asked about it 2 weeks back.....the officer told me that ikhwan is an Islamic card which diff with MBB2C, we need to submit 3 months payslip even though we are existing customer. Since another member found out there is an option to convert into ikhwan, perhaps u can try that. I didn't have to provide any docs when I applied @ Gardens. Passed them my current credit card and ic, filled in the form and the card was in my hand within that day itself. QUOTE(sonnas @ Jul 23 2015, 07:10 PM) yeah, my ikhwan card shows up in M2U. I had asked to shared/split credit limits from M2C to this card, but looks like my M2C CL is not affected. But the ikhwan card CL is only 25% of my original M2C card. Is this normal? My experience is that the M2C credit limit reduction takes some time. I got my ikhwan card same day from Gardens on Monday (20th) and the M2C credit limit change only took effect today (I got an SMS from MBB stating as such).

My limit reduction was done by mistake by one of the staff in the card center. The next day I try to swipe my card, transaction was denied >_> Took them super long to restore the previous limit thou.

Collected the card yesterday. After read thru the cash back T&C from the booklet given, T&C no.4 stated supplementary card also entitled for cash back. Based on my understanding, the cash back is only for Principal card. Is it true? 4. Subject to the eligibility criteria specified above, transactions made by the Supplementary Cardmember will also be entitled to the Cash Back, where the Supplementary Card’s spending will be accumulated with the Principal Card’s spending and the Cash Back will only be credited to the Principal Card’s account.

I meant Supplementary cash back is shared with Principal and will be credited back to Principal. As simple as that ...

RM0.00 Maybankard:We are pleased to inform that your request for (Permanent/Temporary) Decrease of Limit has been approved.Thank You Edit: And on the previous day before that. RM0.00 Maybank:We are pleased to inform that your application has been approved.Thank you. I was wondering what application (Ihkwan?) - only after the 2nd sms I realised they're talking about application to decrease limit This post has been edited by PsychoJoe: Jul 24 2015, 11:57 AM

I had received the same "RM0.00 Maybank:We are pleased to inform that your application has been approved.Thank you.", so I went online to check and saw the Ikhwan card was there. I guess I probably will receive the second message as you did. We can see the limit reduction from M2U right ?

So that 7K combined limit is for any cards you've got under MBB Islamic. This applies for MBB conventional as well, any cards you've got are actually combined limit, include your M2Cs. But it will be a separate limit from that 7K. This post has been edited by PsychoJoe: Jul 24 2015, 07:52 PM

QUOTE(red_scorpion @ Jul 23 2015, 08:08 PM) Normal la..the credit limit they approved is based on ur current risk, spending pattern and total credit limit from all cc.. Mine is 1/3 of m2c CL.. As long as it is above 1k then ok la because cash back capped at 50 only. You no need so many cl...u only need it for epp, or bt promotion...but you can just utilize ur higher CL m2c card for that Do maybank ask you how much CL you wanna allocate/split for the Islamic cc?

QUOTE(leo_kiatez @ Jul 24 2015, 09:52 PM) Do maybank ask you how much CL you wanna allocate/split for the Islamic cc? For mine, they did. I even asked how much do they suggest. The reply was 50-50 also, 70-30 also can .. In fact, I didn't even mention splitting the CL, they suggested that I do that right there when I applied.
