I think my case not required as my salary deposit into my maybank account, therefore she only ask my company name, address and position.

My salary has been deposited into maybank since god knows when d.

That bugger still ask me documents.

They didn't ask me any documents at all. I told him that my salary goes into Maybank and I have MBB2 AMEX/Visa.

Mee too never ask for documents and my salary goes to mbb account. Have mbb2card .

Me too never asked though at the end still rejected by them.

just called to apply for the card, at last, being asked if i have the RHB/Citi/CIMB credit card and how much of the CL. Chance to get approved is higher if we have the cards as mentioned. Of course, still subject to their approval.

Not possible because they're different financial entity.

just call their preapproved number 03-5891 4777 .
THey will filled up the form for you..if need submit more doc, you can submit through email.

did the MBB CS mentioned anything about ikhwan's 5 percent rebate? apparently most of them already get the notice regarding the end of 5 percent rebate for mbb2cards

Why they need to mention this since the current benefit is not being advised till further notice?

just got back from Maybank jalan raja laut to apply this card (was collecting my cheque book so what the hell)

-cannot share limit with m2card coz thats conventional n ikhwan is islamic

-still need to submit salary/income proof although i got m2card, premier current account with them...wtf..but for 5% cb okay lor..hehe

It is common that bank did not allow share credit limit for cc for conventional and islamic,

U have 2 choice

1. Apply ikhwan as new accplication. And iu will have a new credit limit.
2. Apply ikhwan by taking some credit limit from existing maybank credit card

It is better and faster u can get the ihkwan approve and received the CC within 1 hour in maybank card center in garden

yeah...just knew about it when i applied cuz 1st time applied islamic credit card..hehe

agree on your last statement, but i went there to pickup my cheque book hence my adhoc application of the ikhwan card. shud have done the application tomorrow at garden. lesson learned

usually how long it takes if apply by calling 03-5891 4777?

will they call to inform us the status? or need call them back via number above to check?
