2 weeks quite sometime already, most probably your application has been rejected..
maybe you just wait for sms/mail for the status..
and also please check m2u, if approved, around 1week you will see your new card there already..

It is depends on their online system settings after that, some system do not filter it out, it show all regardless of active or inactive.. bank should have some regulation/rules to keep all the old data at least for N years....maybe after 10 years, your inactive account record only will be cleanse in their database...
