salah never play with our best 10. only willian + schurrle given chances playing with them. salah need to play with the best 10, then only we can judge his ability.

i dont think lucas moura is better than willian. a talented player of course but not that special.

Salah at best is just above average.
For now I only see him as a player with speedy legs thats all.

Lucas is doing great these seasons.
I actually quite impress after looking at 3 psg matches.

Actually Lucas Moura not bad, 22 years old, starting RW in PSG, international team player. Iinm, he did dethrone Menez and Menez left PSG.

That is quite impressive for a 22 year old player. He plays like someone with a lot of experience. hmm.gif

But too exp la. laugh.gif

Lucas Moura, one of brightest young talent from Brazil, back to 2012 few of Europe Top Club tried to sign him, very expensive, non BPL proven player

yep. his pace is incredible, but unfortunately everything else below average.
esp shooting after that awful game in CoC. from a shot become a throw in for opponent doh.gif

He was given little chance to prove himself hence the wayward shootings sad.gif

I think his salary not that high and not injury prone, worth to keep imho. Plus, judging by his performance for Basel this guy definitely no way below average.

maybe too rusty being in reserves so long. barely even make it to the bench.
hopefully he'll improve in the coming months. at this rate also, doesn't seem like in January we'll be changing anyone in the squad.

oh btw, Matchday!!!

The only time I remember he perform well were last seasons arsenal games.
well that also due to we fully control the entire games.
most of the times when he been given chances he does not impress me at all.

he performed well in liverpool game as well with his defensive duty and work rate really impressed me. shirley on the other hand, while he is commendable going forward his work rate is questionable at times. as far as i can remember he rarely track back, this area he needs to improve.

salah is playing bit part this season, so wherenever hes on the pitch that is where we have slowed the tempo of the game and didnt fully utilise his strength.

how many times did he play? compare to willian schurrle. as i said from before, he need to play with our best 10 to release his full potential. playing with the like of ake, mikel and seeasoned drogba wont help his development. give him a run of games with our best 10. then only judge his ability.

Predictions for the lineup against Schalke? Against our ex manager.

I think Mourinho will bring his strongest XI for this one. Time to see off Schalke and qualify as top of the group.

Maybe same lineup against West Brom with Cech playing

i dont think salah is average, its just he cant gel with our players. If u watch him play for basel, his teamates will always give him the ball or make a pass for him.but here at chelsea, everyone want to make a difference.so,he really need to change his play to suit our gameplay. IMO biggrin.gif

Not sure if slowpoke but I'd like to remind everyone that we will be seeing a familiar face in the Schalke dugout later tonight

No matter where they go, they always have a space in our deepside. Matteo, Makelele, Desailly Lampard, even Gronkjaer.

I think there will be changes on lineup; Cech, Willian and Remy to start.

I reckon Iva take a break, Luis in. Fab + Matic un-rest-able, early Ram/Mikel substitution maybe. Costa still might start since he had international break off.

Mata and Luiz are fan favourites for sure. Though they only spent a relatively short stint at the Bridge, they've certainly made an impact and are part of our history.

I was referring to Filipe Luis.

but yeah..David Luiz and Mata still deep down in our fans heart, but not as great as the one that Belphegor mentioned.
