You know, God never ask any of us to guard our surrounding circumstance..ie; the stock market, the economy, GF, Wife, etc.......
It's hard to be at peace isn't it? Especially when we're afraid.

He just ask us to guard our hearts. We do that, God will guard us and take care of our circumstances.

John 14:1 (NIV) - "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
John 14:27 NIV) - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Though these verses are talking about salvation, don't forget, the word Salvation in the Greek and Hebrew is an encompassing wholeness of our Life..our well being, not just eternal life.

Christians who dabble in any form of supernatural magic will open doors for (himself) spiritual attacks.
This will include physic type of prayer that intends harm to others, Like the one de tried to pray against Tina.

Demonic forces will try to bargain and use that to come in.
People under demonic oppression becomes irrational.

There are no distinction in magic, whether white magic or black magic.
The supernatural occurance are all rooted from demonic source.
That is why God forbids practises of any type of supernatural magic.

Jesus deem it important enough to repeat the same warning in the book of revelation.

Those who practise black magic, forfeits eternal life.

This means that it's something really serious, not a "child's play" matter.

Here's a general rule of the thumb which will apply to any book in the Bible.

If there are passages that you don't understand, don't struggle trying to crack the code, just leave it and move on to the next passage.

But if you're burden enough wanting to know, then pray to the HS asking him to help you understand. Sometimes the revelation comes, sometime it takes time, maybe months even but just be patience.

You can throw your question here if you want, some of the brothers may know.

Happens to my reading, after sometime, the revelation come and I slap my head going "oh that's what it means" then I go do some checking with friends, pastors, online, etc.

For unbelievers it may not be so obvious.
Because those spirits will play along, maintaining the status quo, deceiving that everything is alright.

For believers, it will be direct attack causing all kinds of problems.

It's more than that, every book has the revelation of Jesus hidden.

Read the interesting part about the quail from Heaven, Water from the Rock, Balaam, Cities of refuge, etc.

If you see carefully, you might find the revelation of Jesus.

Don't really know that revelation but I know this revelation.

Before the 10 commandments was given.

Why was it when they complain they had no food to eat and God gave them mana but no one died from complaining.

In the Book of numbers (after the law was given) same scenario but this time they died from complaining.

Why? Think about it.

Yeah Luffy but they tested God before the law was given, why they didn't die?
Same God, same testing by the people Israel but no death. After the Law was given, there is death.

Do you know before the Law was given from the time of Adam until Mount Sinai, before the 10 commandment was handed into Moses Hand was a period of God's Grace?
That's the answer why they didn't die.

Yup Yaokb, it's amazing isn't it? Where there is no Law, There is no transgression. Romans 5:13 (KJV) testify that: For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

God started with Grace and He ended with Grace even Today is a period of God's Grace. Why? Because Jesus came, He is the persona of Grace In fact the Gospel is called the Gospel of God's Grace. (Acts 20:24).

What's my point in all this?

Grace is not a subject, it's the person of God. Grace was his original plan with Man, Now He restoring that plan.
We need to cast out Law (Galatians 4:30) because it's was never in the intention of God to give us that. We're the one who asked for ...it's typified when Eve took hold of the fruit of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Now casting out Law does not mean we go and subject ourselves to sin as we like. What it means is that We move ourselves closer to God and depend and have Faith FULLY on his Grace for everything in our life, (how to go about in life, our livelihood, our correct living) not the Law. Law represent everything about self, self confidence, self effort while Grace represent everything about God. Receiving good when we don't deserve it.

We need to receive God's Grace not just receive but receive it in abundance, to reign in life or in other words to be victorious. (Romans 5:17)
