It depends. I need money for living, therefore, I would take it as temporary

Note: There's no such thing as ideal job as your first job. You have to work your way up

hahahaha....... to survive is one thing, n to put it as a temp is another. but can u handle something that u dislike for the sake to survive? do u want to put ur time to it?

eg: u know that ur not that social/talkactive but ur offered to be a salesman.can u?

like me. im a type of person who would like a simple life.go work....go home....hv my weekends. the salary is put as a comfortable level. im not the person who find clients n make good PR. now im offered with a job which that needs me to be "energetic" n "cheerful". the salary n benefit is ok but im not that comfortable n happy to be someone else ........

but there is a group of people that suggest me to change n learn. is this a good advice or will it make the situation/environment of the job to condemn me?

another similar thread like the salary vs interest.

it's very much different from each other. some people let the money do the talks, some people will let their inner feelings do the talks.

as i suggest, write a note and compare each job of your selection, write down each criteria, such as salary, interest, distance, hours of work etc etc. compare each other using points, for example salary for job A is higher than B, so you rate 5 and 2 respectively, but the job satisfaction of job B is higher than job A, so your score that particular criteria for job B 7 points and job A 3 points, in the end of the day, which ever score the higher mark will be the better choice.

in my situation money score 100 points lol. so i actually hate my job but money keeps me going.

If the job does not suit your personality, you are unlikely to excel in it. No excel = no promotion = no big salary. Doing something that suits you might be more rewarding in the long term.

but in this case the job is way far from my degree ......... it has a 1 year contract......... i dunno how to handle it, thus making me afraid if they took a "dumb a**" for the job........ n it is also connected to a career agent company.

For fresh graduate, if they think that they know what job they want, then they are wrong. Is pretty hard to tell what type of job that suit you. You have to explore it yourself. It would be best not to narrow down your career scope. Otherwise you might end up jobless which is much worst than having a job that you dislike.

frankly speaking, not many of us get to work in the same field that we graduated in bro, thats a fact of life smile.gif

and believe me when i say that as time goes by, u will either learn to love the job ur given, or hate it...

it takes time bro. nowadays we cant be too choosy.

why dontcha give it a try first. after ur first or 2nd salary, make up ur mind whether u wanna stay or stray laugh.gif

~bro liquid

yeah.true. smile.gif ....n i've been working a lot of jobs thats not related to my degree.

a question here:

is it wrong if a job agent ask u (are u intrested?) for a interview? than answered "wht the heck, try je lah".........went for the interview, put a positive attitude but than realise the job is not u wanted.....after that they want you, but you decline the offer....... is it wrong?

My perfect job is one where people pay me money and worship me. Unfortunately there aren't many job opportunities in the cult leader industry...
