Bro i buy that time is already consider expansive la.. I use over 300k to buy a studio get laughed by people is just expected result, earlier many advice me not to take it as they think too expansive liao, but now is even more expansive.. My only concern at that time is the money that i fork out, could get what kind of house in my preferred location, in term of size, convenient, comfort of living there.. Pocket not deep enough got to compromise on those that less useful on my next few years..

Ur sight only can see those selective properties of course their price is same la, all fall under same category, share the same traits.. Ur saving enough for downpayment but u wan to hantam all into the 10% then no need spare cash for renovation and other purpose ar? Later u might realize not only property expansive but labour cost for indon worker also cost u a bomb wor.. 50k might just enough to build ur wife dream kitchen..

Just the 2storey kitchen extendsion already use up all the budget rm70k, balance little money no choice liao cannot choose leather sofa and other quality furnitures.. Later wife wan find interior designer somemore, actually this original 200k just enough to cover half of renovation cost..

That explain why he got big hope on these newly vped properties.. Although everytime he also get the same dissapointed result with the price go up up an away.. Even some owner willing to let go at slightly below the rest, but he wanted 20% below the rest, owner give 10% below the rest already snap up by those who eye on it, no chance to drop further..

Not all buy house to stay till retirement 1 ma.. Some people like to have more option, i got house, i can choose to upgrade by selling the current and buy another one or i can keep it rent out and buy another one.. If not buy then somemore u have no say on the price up or down, u got to need good luck to secure ur roof with more downpayment, more monthly repayment, far away from city, and smaller as well.

I buy subsales la, not worthy the price but i need it so i just happily pay for it la. I rent monthyl can pay lesser but i dont want to chase by owner later, that will be even more no face compare to buy a studio.. Iceman keep mentioning the defying gravity stuff u still dont get him.. Ur cash money is the 1 guarantee lose its value over the time.. U can choose to save for more year but at the end u put more on downpayment still deplete ur all ur saving.. Buy now reset to zero is better or buy 5years later then start ur saving from zero again? Money is urs nobody can prevent u to dump in more to get the same type of house..

Everytime u buy sell also incurred a lot of cost, if cannot pass it on ur buyer then u got to bear it urself.. just buy and keep it rent out cheap is almost certain to win ur buy and sell every 3 years..

I exactly start buying from 2011-2014, but only hope to get affordable unit instead of buy and hope for price up up and away.. Many buyer also do the same simply because they wan to have their own home instead of rented home that mayb chase by owner anytime. Only can have 1 type of most of them, either most of them buy for flip or most of them buy for own use( either use for grow grass, 2nd milk, future house for kids, collect rental etc is up to owner).. Flipper mentality will choose what kind of action should be pretty obvious, current market condition is definitely conflict to this point..
