Here are some cases reviews

Tridea Otangke

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

- Overall , very good protection but the back is smooth , making it slippery to hold unless your hand is big enough to have a full grip . Size wise , it's quite bulky

Verus Thor

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

- The back is suprisingly smooth as well unlike in the picture yet with the non glossy finishing , it's nice to hold . size wise , doesnt add a lot to the already big note 4 . Slim as well . However , I do get a feeling it doesnt offer much protection if it drops unlike Tridea or UAG case .

UAG case

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

- Most Bulky among the 3 .... I put it , Otterbox Commuter Note 3 kinda of bulky . The rubber at the side makes it very nice to hold with good grip . Havent use UAG on Note 3 but was told slightly thicker . However the rubber is quite tight , making it quite difficult to remove the phone after putting it in . Luckily the phone is not bendable or I might have bend the phone to remove the case . Would say the best protection among the 3 for now if 1 can live with the bulky size of it . I dont know about other UAG models recently but Note 4 does come with a screen protector . Kinda annoyed with them after I did a Note 2 bulk last time

Indeed a valid criticism... I must say samsung need to cut out the bloat...for u guys experiencing lag on note4 I highly suggest u disable all the bloatware and greenify only then will u feel the speed as I hav...I think if I haven't optimize my note4 no way I can get 52297 antutu score or a pleasant experience...this is wut samsung need to concentrate on cut out the bloat and  optimize note4 core function smile.gif

What are the suggested bloatware to disable? I already disabled S health.

Nexus 6 crazy smooth. No need test, video showing out, the animation is like no single frame drop. Everything is instant include the recent apps.

QUOTE(Arool @ Nov 1 2014, 07:59 PM)
Stupid Samsung centre. My wife collected my phone today from SC with with its board replaced. I'm rushing home happily  from workplace, 136KM away , hoping that I can play with it again just to discover that now my Note 4 have more problem.

1. The capacitive button (back & recent app) no longer responsive. They need to be pressed to become functional.
2. Menu button broken. It sunk into the front glass panel & became loose. I can even wiggle it with my finger.
3. Dunno if there any more problem.

Now I don't even have any desire to pop in my sim card to test  it. 4 years I have good experience with SC. Only now they f**ked up badly. I mean, how in the hell the stupid technician didn't test my Note 4 before give them to my wife. This Monday I'm gonna attack the SC & the stupid technician . No matter what, I want new phone replacement. I don't want broken RM2.5K phone.

sorry to hear that. which centre u went to?

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 6 2014, 09:57 AM)
Sometimes I really doubt the accuracy of such tests

I had both ip6+ and Note4
On sunlight legibility the ip6+ is way many times better than Note 4 and the reviewer says " The Apple iPhone 6 Plus doesn't do as well as its smaller sibling and while its result is certainly good enough, you'll have to bump up the brightness on a sunny day" - this statement is grossly wrong as far as I am concerned. The ip6+ in bright sunlight fares much better than Note 4 which one needs to drag up to maximum brightness while is not necessary as ip6+ at 20-30% brightness level is good enough. The best sunlight legibility phone I had ever used is still Nokia 1520

Battery life on my Exynos Note4 is worser than ip6+ and I guess estimate the ip6+ is way much better, probably double that of Note4

Lastly, He said Note 4 has best loudspeakers ?? Seriously the ip6+ is way much better and he rate it as the worst . I had compared these playing audio and several same video clips on both phones

I am NOT and NEVER a ip6+ fan but just pointing out the differences in my opinions vs the review

Overall personally I will rate the Note 4 as a better phone for my usage as its versatility in its Spen and functionality surpuss that of the iphone. The new ip6+ is NO longer that buttery smooth as previous ip5 and I would say the Note 4 is better in this aspect. I had posted few times on ip6 thread why I deem the Note4 is a better business phone vs ip6 and I do get some thrashback on that !!

Each phone has their own strength and weakness. That is why it benefits us as consumers to have competition among phone makers. In the end, different users will find different phones more useful to them. I Don understand why some people will trash others for voicing out their opinion.

I am not thrashing him , just voicing my difference in opinion. Many users are easily influenced by these so called web reviewers. I always read them with open mind. And is good other users should know any other user different opinions
I only believe in my own personal usage to assess stuffs. As such I had always refused to answer which is a better phone if I had never personally used them before

What I meant was uncle Ben was trashed for voicing his opinion in other threads.

For me, I think it's not worth it protecting by covering/hiding the phone's elegance and beauty.

Phone has no value and eventually people are gonna change phone, then only they take cover and SP off. So when u take those off, your phone look damn nice, but what for? U not gonna use anymore.

Why enjoy the beauty when u arent gonna use it when you can enjoy it now while using?

Transparent cover seems like a good idea. I will try to find one.

I agree your point. Just that I've spent RM2.5k on this phone and I don't want it to be spoiled by accidentally dropping it. That is my dilemma.

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Nov 10 2014, 12:08 AM)
A quick review of iloome SP flexible . As usual , as expected from iloome , only the SP is great , the accessories given , even Nilkin or Remax give better quality dust sticker and wiping clothes . 1 thing good is , they provide you a a sticker , 3 in this case to stick the your phone and SP to keep it in place before you stick it on . Not easy to use unlike some japanese brands but at least u dont have me measure left , right , top , bottom to get it in place . Get the placement u want with the SP , stick the sticker on your SP and onto the side of your phone and fix it's position before removing the layer off to stick it to your screen .
Overall , the SP only covers the screen area aka the black part of the screen . It doesnt cover all the way to the side as expected but there's no halo effect unlike the nilkin I used before at the corners of the phone .

P/S : sorry , i'm the lazy type to do review and write a 1000 words essay on it
