It is not a feature, it is a factory defect  for a minute there, i thought i was in the OnePlus forum since that's where there's plenty of talk about yellow tint. could it have been from glue, which is the main cause for the OnePlus. if glue, usually goes off after 1-2 weeks of moderate to heavy use.
