To me it's Z3 over saturated and losing detail rather than Note 4 being washed out

Let's have an open discussion rather than accusing other for being biased.

If you look at the shadow or darker areas, you can see that there's not much detail on Z3's photo.

An example would be the black object that the chips are sitting on; with N4, the letters CMSTORM are still visible. Does your naked eye see those words? I'm sure they do.

I'm a camera hobbyist so you can take my words with a pinch of salt. I think N4's photo gives me more possibility for editing; it's easy for me to pump up the contrast and saturation but if the photo don't have the details, I can't "add" details into it.

When we talk about contrast or saturation, I think there's one important factor, our monitor/screen sweat.gif

I'm not sure about yours but mine's not calibrated. In any case, increasing contrast or saturation is easy. Try Snapseed
