I suspect the index service is caused by media scanning but I could be wrong. Every time when I have downloaded some music and I added that file into my playlist, that is the moment I saw the index service is it the top of my wake lock.

Same goes to if I transfer a lot of picture into my phone and view it in gallery, the same behavior would happened. The wake lock will stop upon a reboot.

Once knox has been tripped then there is no way to reset the knox counter as of now. Flashing back to original firmware will only unroot your phone but not the knox.

Based on certain claim experience by Note 3 users who tripped their knox, so far there is no issue with SC. Is either SC doesn't check or they don't even know about it
