Those lines are by design, not a malfunction

A stupid design imo,those lines combined with the curved screen,makes it feel like I went from an awesome plasma screen ( note 3) to a 90's CRT TV (note 4)

That might be caused by the fact that the metal frame is painted.

You mean even with Synapse it doesnt have that option?
For me,the only reason I'll be flashing a custom kernel is for faster usb charging,since samsung went with a usb 2.0 port this time....sigh,the note 3 used to charge really fast with my laptop.

wow this snapdragon exynos question has been asked numerous times....so many ppl traumatized by s4 exynos i guess....s2 s3 note 2 were the times where ppl were hoping to get exynos and not snapdragon, now its he other way around haha. Hope the 7420 in S6 next year will do great to get consumers trust again

Only difference is that a note 2 is able to run 4.4 with all the softwares of the note 4 as smooth as it was with its 2012 firmware

watchon app on my note 3 could control it, but finding and setting up the remote app wasn't easy. Sorry, cant be of much help, but the watchon app will be able to control it, just play around with that ap, might get it running.

i disable sync on s2 last time, starting from note 2 i dont disable anymore...if Note series have to disable sync....

yeah exynos 2 was godly(or else samsung wouldnt be where they are now)
exynos 4 was awesome enough
exynos 5 was a complete disaster (s4 with its non HMP cores, etc)
until the 5433 came and made things back to how they were before
the s5 exynos isnt really bad, s5 has good batt form what i heard but thats because of the highly efficient screen.

you should be dissapointed of the m8 as it didnt make use of the free RAM and be happy with ur note4 as it did...

and the only thing i disabled was shealth, play book,facebook and pages manager. Not to make the phone faster, but so as to not have those icons on my app drawer. Dont need to do anything drastic on this phone as its smooth out of the box. Just gaming can get crappy due o the QHD screen (about to get crappier on the note 5 thanks to a 4K screen on that zzzz)

What do u make use of in evernote premium? I have not activate it yet as im not really making full yse out of Evernote yet...have always used the note app on my ipod touch but its starting to sicken me lol

slightly faster only, but at least its usable now. Still nowhere close to nexus....its only instantaneous when you use it successively, if you stop using for awhile, its back to being slow, but still faster than before.

You restarted your device, hence the line. the gap is kinda large because of the time it took to apply the update, and for me I lose like 5% while updating. Gonna recharge now and monitor batt life. Hope i can still get 3.5 hours SOT with 50% batt

Will need your aunt's device screenshot to come with any sort of conclusion. I dare say all malaysian note 4 version would have imx240 as its rear cam ISP

Interesting,i bought from an SME shop on launch day and its imx240.

Although i must say the camera definitely blew me away,took photos while it was raining,and yet the pics turned out well lit!! Can't post here as its ppl pic not scenery
