Managed to backup EFS using cmd based on this tutorial, http://goo.gl/Qs4F8Y.

1. Ensure ADB driver is properly installed, http://goo.gl/wj7ZTz
2. Root, http://goo.gl/g2xNxy
3. Install Busybox, http://goo.gl/GKFNXD
4. Connect GN4 to a PC
5. Win + R, cmd.exe
6. Go to \platform-tools\
7. Copy paste these line by line

CODE
adb devices
adb shell
su
tar zcvf /sdcard/efs-backup.tar.gz /efs

8. DONE.
*
Nice but why dont want to just use the tool since it's much easier or Terminal emulator

When you see the Terminal Emulator box, type the following command:
To backup EFS on external SD Card: dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 of=/storage/sdcard/efs.img bs=4096
To backup EFS on external SD Card: dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 of=/storage/extSdCard/efs.img bs=4096

Without playing any games, that means idle without doing anything. My battery temp and this is not while charging. My last charge at 8 am. And the stuttering is so much apparent during this hot temp. Just put in my pocket without doing anything.
*
Do u have a memory card inside your phone ? If u do , take it out , restart your hp and monitor it for another 1-2 hours . IF the temperature still the same , copy out what's important in your internal and format the internal sd . Dont copy back in your files immediately . Leave it for another 1-2 hours ....

Chances are u have a media scan wakelock . Some corrupted files especially photos/videos from messaging app like wechat , whatsapp , etc tend to cause it and the phone is working non stop to scan it over and over again . I cant be sure , the only way to be sure is to install wakelock detector and i dont know any that dont require root . So , trouble shoot it manually for now

Try this method , it works for my Docomo phones

So the solution is put those file on ext SD or internal?
*
Most of the time , the corrupted files are photos sent thru messaging apps like wechat , whatsapps , etc which sadly , are all stored in internal memory .... cant do much . lol

Set to the same brightness , screen is definitely different for both units , right being slightly yellowish while left is bluish

May I know you guys recommend which brand of tempered glass screen protector? In which don't have air gap issues.
Thx in advance  notworthy.gif

iloomo flexible glass but expect it to be rm150 +/- . Paid 140 for my G2 , only fully covered tempered glass i found for G2 since side is curved as well

Evo 32gb Micro SD rm59 vs sandisk ultra 32gb rm65...which one should i get??

I'll go for Sandisk any day. Warranty claim is 1 to 1 for defect . Just make sure is local warranty and not "AP" memory card . RM55 for class 10 ?

Guys my back camera seems to have a black spot.
How come it happened?
Anybody experiencing it and any solution?
I tried wiping but its still there.
see attached pic
*fix put a rectangle on top of the black spot.

[attachmentid=4203196]
*
Take a few pic , landscape and potrait mode . See if the spot is there on every pic . If it is , go to SC . Most probably it's dirty inside
