If this wireless charger charge as fast as the wall charger with the fast charge function then it will be good to consider. thumbup.gif

I have been using Qi chargers for almost a year. They are a convenience but the charge rate maxes out somewhere around 500-700mA.

This means it is suitable for overnight charging. The state of current technology does not yet allow high speed wireless charging.

I only saw defender, commuter and symmetry. Didn't see any of the built in battery. The price is the same whenever i asked any of the shops selling genuine otterbox. Rm179 for commuter, rm189 for symmetry and rm219 something for defender. And yeah, it is quite pricey.

The 2A adapter is to power the charging pad. You still need a receiving coil on the back cover, or stuck onto the battery.

At best, if Samsung really managed to do it well, you'd get 1000mA incoming charge to your Note 4. I don't expect anything better.

thank you for clarify my doubt ZAD. I was worried about that for a moment. wonder why samsung would introduce Exynos set instead of Snapdragons into malaysia when we shared the same LTE freq band with other Snapdragon equipped country rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif
*
Snapdragon 805 support CAT6 LTE , our LTE is CAT4 , 1 gen behind . So , no , it's not about frequency . Singapore is already going CAT6 by the way

4 hours, this means it is putting out 700mA approx. Nice.

Still, that's about the best that current Qi tech can do.

Yeah, that's the sacrifice. Hope the Turbo wireless charging is enabled and standard in next Note.

Here are some responses from XDA

They ALL have GPS working WITHOUT the phone.....I think we need to pay a visit to the service center.

Any other Gear S owners please verify?

if you have a custom kernel... you may be able to adjust the charging rate the phone can receive.... I see the option in my S3 in the boeffla config app. however i have not tried it cos i dont have one... tongue.gif
