If you look at the article, they acknowledge that the enforcement on previous/existing project has been lax and nothing much they can do about it.

But moving forward for future projects, they want to close the loophole and start to enforce more diligently in catching the errant buyers.

Looking at what they did/said in Penang/Selangor, there's not betting one day they really enforce the policy nationwide.

As these affordable housing have always been for people to own their homes and not for investment. So do proceed with caution if you have other objectives in mind.

Agreed, then loan payment default will inrease if no Rumawip, Prima, PPA1m, & Selangor can be rent. Bankruptcy case will increase and affects banks & Malaysia economies. rclxs0.gif

I applied during the weekend but did not receive an invitation email. Called Pr1ma and different contact agents provide different info. One said I can attend the open day without invitation, just need to attend during the afternoon session. The second one said it is fully sold out, and I cannot attend without an invitation. Is this possible to sell out before the upcoming launch? What should I do now? How come I did not receive an invite?

Just a quick one. For PR1MA Brickfields, the SPA lawyer is Ross Kamaluddin.

For the loan documentation, is the legal fees charged by the lawyer or the bank? In this case Maybank? Can the buyer select the lawyer to do the loan documentation if Maybank has several panel lawyers to choose from?

May I ask what is the range of legal fees for loan documentation you guys are paying, and from which bank (and lawyer)?

Thanks for the information. Is this loan legal fee charged by the lawyer or the bank(through the lawyer)? Do you have choices to select your own lawyer to do the loan documentation?

Charged by lawyer. My lawyer was assigned by the Bank but I believe you can have your own lawyer, if I'm not mistaken.

So far, only Penang seem to be spearheading this move atm (link).

Probably have to wait for the outcome once they iron out the issues, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are objections to it during the discussion or if its implemented.

Hi, anyone here bought the 1,005 sqf unit? It is 412k after 10% discount... loan margin approval is only 90% for this property price, I checked with Maybank and the officer said 100% loan margin approvals are only for prices 400k and below. Still a good buy?

Wonder how's the update on the construction site now. This project only started in 2019? So it would be affected by the reselling rule? I asked an assistant at the sales gallery today and the person said after 5 years it is ours... so there's no mandate that we have to sell it back to KPKT after that 5 years. Not sure how true this will be or it'll still be the same after 5 years for Prima Brickfields...

I'm worried I made a wrong decision if I decided to buy this property. I forgot to ask for the common corridor it's cemented floor or with tiles? How are the tilings in the unit and are all the bedroom parquet flooring? What about number of plug points in bedrooms... Anyone here can shine some light into these matters? smile.gif
