Just went to an electrical shop. The shop assistant told me that:
- Daikin, York and Acson all have the same owner (in Malaysia, at least).
- The owner will discontinue Daikin technology.
- But York a/c will be re-branded Daikin.

Can anyone confirm if this is true?
