Dear all

is inverter type air con necessary?
How will the electricity cost difference for inverter and non-inverter?

I am considering to take panasonic brand. Any long term user for panasonic here?
*
I have Panasonic (2++ yrears), York (2++ years) and Samsung (6 months) inverter aircond. Since changing from non-inverter to inverter unit, on average my electricity usage do drops. Inverter unit only good IF you use them for long hours. Min 3 to 4 hours a day before it shows significant savings.

As for Panasonic unit, I have no qualm about the unit. Have been working flawlessly since day one. Silence, no significant noise increase.

Do calculate the space that you plan to use the AC. Right hp is important.

Look great n high tech design, to match on furniture,
But not sure how easy for doing maintenance like wipe out interior surface.
Again 3D air was more difficult to remove out.

Also my next target on it too thumbup.gif

Yah, the design very nice, modern look. As for maintenance, it's very easy to clean the filter, it's mounted on outside of the unit instead of inside like other brand. Interior cleaning, sorry, no idea. Normally, I just call the expert. Total dismantle cleaning. Once a year. tongue.gif
