Teng kor, have you visited the show village? Mind to share your thoughts? How far does it exceed or fall short of your expectations?  Given the current situation what do you think the purchasers and the developer can do to close the gap between the expectations and reality?

Honestly, at first I have that kind of "not spacious" feeling too as I expect larger space (living hall) from the 2F unit which has the biggest BU among all.  But when I went back home relooked at the floor plan and rethink about it, that is suppose (largely) what I expect to see.  It's kind of my own problem didn't manage my expectations well as I kept on comparing this with another property (Canary Garden, Klang) of my choice.  So overall I'm still quite satisfied.  Workmanship I believe they can do better and they acknowledged too there are areas for improvement.  Since the long awaited show units is no longer a mystery now, I'm more interested to see now how they build /do the landscape, the amenities, the infrastructure, maintenance and how they slowly develop the township according to the master plan.

Yeah, unfortunately the rainy days has caused the delay in completion of the red carpet.  Was told that should be ready by Dec14/Jan15 and likely will have another event/ ceremony to officiate the use of the red pavement connecting EM-SEH.

Well, I think it's still mutual benefit to both EM and SEH even though both are competitors.  In fact, I guess (note: guess only) there may be some sort of agreements btw Tan Sri and SPS when he stepped down from SPS but still leading the projects of SPS. So, this could be one of the deals btw them....

Yes, you are right that this has been discussed numerous times before as the new buyers seeking advice here.  There are couple of things, in brief: EM is a strata-title development which in general should give you better control in terms of security, maintenance and the facade & landscape of the community, the spec is generally better (note: the built up of EM is mostly larger based on the plan, though some may feel otherwise after the visit to the show units), the nicely designed landscape in each precint, and EM township comes with commercial centre at Silver Square (note: SEH's commercials will mostly located at SEH2). Notwithstanding the above, SEH has its strenghts too.  SEH also has 10 theme parks, the PARC and it offers a cheaper entry point (vis a vis EM) for a good township.

This is the new traffic route map that will link up Setia Ecohill 1, EcoMajestic and Setia Ecohill 2, which has been shared by a forummer long long time ago... Look at it carefully and you will understand how the connecting route shall be in place..

I myself has been putting much anticipation on the "green route" in the the map, which is called "east-west link". If this link road is in place, that's mean EcoMajestic shall not only connected to Lekas, but will be connected to the North South expressway as well, via the bandar seri Putra exit. This will totally link up Semenyih with Bangi and definitely will benefit the residents from both townships...      Much hope on this..

The central roundabout of SEH now shall be the "busiest" roundabout thereafter.

During the morning rush period, this roundabout shall having many cars coming from the 3'clock (SEH DSL, and the surrounding housing such as Pelangi Semenyih 1, Pelangi Semenyih 2, etc), from 6' clock (EM) and from 9'clock (SEH cluster, semiD, superlink, bangalow etc)... 

Hopefully it can cope with all the traffic in future...

Another important different would be SEH DSL is FnG, while EM DSL is fully GnG.... That justify the price different as well...
