My family advised me to cancel booking after seeing the show units last week, their point of view is too far, not much commercial activities nearby ( not like Setia Alam, near Klang), 1m for a cluster is not cheap considering its location, also, no "wow" effect seeing the show units, interior finishes is just so so like other DS houses.

I think he means side balcony of 2D rite?

It was 3 ft" and my fren asked SA at the showroom today to confirm.

I believe it was all made an ample size for the side sliding door and if too huge, the internal house width would be reduce from the actual 25" as well.

I only think it was too long thus more sq ft wasted on non usable space but if to put in te louvre, it looks a lot better.
If to put in a table and chairs, it required about 5" ft.

Did your friend consider the thickness of wall?

Honestly, I think 2.5 feet is too narrow. A clear 3 feet sounds better.

I guess people's expectation on that balcony is to able to put their chair there and enjoy the view. But it seems usable only for hanging clothes, which isn't allowed. So, we can question what is that side balcony for, since it is included in overall sqft calculation for the price.
*
Let's put on thinking cap.... WHat is the purpose of the balcony?

1. purely facade
2. use it for cleaning external window
3. use it to put some pots (for green)
4. to travel from front to back

This balcony is purely part of the BU calculation. Theoretically, everything under the shade.

I'm just thinking with so many dissatisfaction voices, will EM consider to come out with upgrade or alternative package to the purchasers to overcome some of the "shortcomings"? hmm.gif

Possible?
*
THis could be tough but not impossible. It depends whether developer wanna work harder or not. At times, they think they got it right completely because of track record and experience. Maybe they still think they are damn RIGHT and there are no shortcomings. Mana ada?

On the other hand, it could be a scenario of expectation management. Purchasers expect a lot from Ecoworld. Purchasers expect a fine product that have been thought over and over in terms of design, practicality and usability.

Cat - Me yet to reach EMSG. Too busy with works. My comments are solely based on overall opinions given. But I did take out my measurement tape to see what is 2.5 feet can do. It does remind me of how to size my AHU room in an office building. Check the AHU size. Get the plinth size. And just allocate 2 feet along the side of the plinth for maintenance purpose. tongue.gif That is it.

Jason kor, how about yourself? Within your expectation? Me and my gf already expected cradleton 1A size so no issue for us. Somemore I am quite impress with the outlook coz from the model it doesnt look that nice. Anyway, to be honest all the show units we visited, we also find many of those the living hall abit small.
*
Classic example of expectation management. Treehill is one of the many who is impressed with it. I did communicate with some others. They also gave positive feedback.

Treehill - DO you think it will change your perception (on small living hall) if they have rumah kosong for you to compare?

Teng boss finally back.

Hehe, actually I like rumah kosong as show house.

RUmah kosong - Sure kena criticised like no tomolo. I went ALam Nusantara show houses. Kosong unit with some imaginary poster. SIberh sienz.

Furnished - SOme will say they use mirror to make it look larger. Workmanship not good enough. How come freebies of such NOT given. Macam macam ada..... sure kena left right centre.
