Selling point for 2D was merely side balconies coz none of the launched units hv side balconies so far in EM except for 2D...ppl expectation on the balconies were so high...not only me...even other purchasers of 2D felt the same and became laughing stock during the day...EM will need to seriously into this issues...plus 2D shld hv been a premium unit vs other clusters as the price more than a mil...but wat we saw is totally unacceptable for the price we r paying...

QUOTE(wesleycjh @ Dec 1 2014, 07:13 PM) I 'm the buyer of 2D, kind of disappointed when look at those balconies. This make me feel those balconies are only for u to easy maintain the sliding doors, even worst for master bedroom balconies, it can only allow single person to stand on it! 100% agree with u...What will the cost incur, if cancel after S&P signed? Or will it possible switch it to merrydale end lot/corner lot? |

QUOTE(oreomambo @ Dec 2 2014, 10:45 AM) If anyone is going there again, review the space objectively. Imagine if the ID isn't there. Imagine how you would like it done if you were doing your own ID. Agree..we hv to demolish the maid room which even cant fit a single bed...akso the attached bathroom...than u will hv a fine wet kitchen..abt the ceilings..no doubt..the highest I ever and looks good...Yes, the layout might not be perfect. However, that is the time to flex your creativity. Walls are not permanent (unless the beams are there). The ID there is a strict reminder for you as an example to avoid those setup. Island kitchen unit isn't suitable for every home. Vase, standing frames and etc aren't really practical, even in your own home. Kitchen being small, but have you consider extending the kitchen into maid's room (if you don't intend to have a maid)?. Did anyone also notice the high ceiling? |

QUOTE(oreomambo @ Dec 5 2014, 10:04 PM) Bro, good stuff. Daytime view with nobody around gives a different perspective. This time armed with correct expectations. You'll probably need to demolish that small toilet next to maids room too. Then you'll have a grand kitchen.. Probably can fit a dining table there or an island. Now a much bigger Hall which you can play hide and seek there Agree...hv to demo the maid room and the toilet as well..dunno why all toilets in 2D are very grand vs the rooms |

QUOTE(wesleycjh @ Dec 6 2014, 05:14 PM) Hi bro, you are right, i measured through the tiles, whereby the total tiles are 11.5pcs, which make it 23ft. Then i studied the floor plan more properly, i found out actually the front portion (living hall + dining hall) is smaller than the rear portion by 2ft Hi Sir...thats really a good catch...any plans to send letter to EW again...By studied the floor plan, i found out that the measurement of 1st floor in brochure is diff from S&P. In brochure the width measurement is not include the side balcony as below: [attachmentid=4247840] But S&P width measurement is included side balcony as below: [attachmentid=4247841] Do u think we able to claim back the spaces occupied by side balcony due to false advertised info given by ecoworld? Our buying decision is based on the brochures and not the S&P |

QUOTE(wesleycjh @ Dec 8 2014, 10:28 PM) I have talked to the SA who responsible for my purchase, he said their management is acknowledged on this and will provide us the update. He told me few buyers already make the same complaints to them. This is the power of forum and FB Did the same...received similar feedback...lets hope something good will happen.... |

I went to EM 2D show unit again today...I even called my SA to company me for a tour inside the hse...we went thru all over the hse and debating the pro and cons of the layouts..quite satisfied now with the layout...I even noticed tht if we extend the 2feet at the ground floor hall as requested by few owners of 2D....the hse will look messy and abit awkward...and we wont hv the luxury of having a place to sit and relax at the sideways which is well covered currently..I did informed her tht personally I am opposing the idea...My suggestion to other 2D buyers who r not satisfied with the current layout..pls visit the unit at day time with ur SA..you might be surprised with some of the unique features they hv for u in 2D...the 3 feet side verendah is really cool...it was raining heavily today and it was amazing standing at the verendah watching the rain drops....2D finally worth the money..
