no need illegal download...spotify has MOST of the big metal . all metal .

Actually I didn't like Iron Maiden's new single. Maybe because I'm still too tied to their 80's albums.

Ys, BNW is such an incredible album, I like it a lot too. And I'm stringed to Somewhere in Time

i rated the final frontier over brave new world actually. =D

I also prefer the older Maiden stuff before Janick Gers joined except BNW which is a pretty good album but the rest I don't enjoy them much at all. I feel they just have lost it, not much inspiration anymore and the songs becoming more boring every time. I've actually skipped listening to their stuff since Dance of Death! As for favorites, it's rather difficult for me to pick between Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, Somewhere In Time, and 7th Son, but I'm leaning slightly towards Number of the Beast or Piece of Mind because of Hallowed Be Thy Name and The Trooper.

If it sounds like their latest single just released, I'm not expecting much as that also sounds so boring. Anyway I will still have a quick listen after the album is out. I'm more anticipating Stryper new album actually, 2 songs already out and sounds pretty good much heavier and rockin' than this new Maiden song. 

I have sampled a few songs in youtube and I agree with you, it's a bit long and plodding, feel so-so only just like their last few albums. And this is coming from a fan of prog metal btw!    I actually don't mind long songs if they keep me interested, got different moods and complexities. Some of my all time favorite songs are actually >20 mins long, for example Odyssey from Symphony X.

Yeah I also never listen to radio coz most of the bands that I like are never on the radio ever. Anyway I got enough collection and the new stuff keep coming, so never had the need to listen to radio at all.
Yeap of course DT as well, they're legends of prog metal. But now there are so many great prog metal bands out there: Circus Maximus, Vanden Plas, Evergrey, Kamelot, Myrath, Seventh Wonder, etc2...I could go on and on and on with the list.

I'm going too, very excited leh! 
But I checked it has not been sold out yet, capacity 2000. They're in Australia now and that one is a sold out.

Well economy not so good and SGD has become more expensive. Some more this is on Monday. If they come to Indonesia, I'm quite sure they can sell more tickets coz there are more metal fans there and there are already so many bands successfully performing there like Maiden, Helloween, Dream Theater, Metallica, Stryper, Yngwie just to name a few, all able to sell in arenas >5k capacity.

Anyway I wonder what time we need to queue already ya? The door will open at 7pm.

Ya, I think I'm going to arrive around that time too.
I'm also a big fan of the band so I immediately booked once I knew about it! Unfortunately already late to get the VIP ticket or else I'd bought that instead.
This is going to be my 4th metal/hard rock concert (I've watched Maiden, Queensryche, and Van Halen all in the early 90s).

All those I watched when in college in the US.
Maiden was during the "Fear of The Dark" album tour
Queensryche during the Operation Mindcrime and Empire tour
Van Halen during the "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" tour.
