i've been told that indian rice is much healthy option then normal white rice due to much lower starch content.. so they are suitable for diabetics.

so in this case.. can this beras rebus used as weight control for ppl who loves to eat rice?

is there any scientific evidence to this lowered calories than normal rice?

indian rice is cooked in such a way that it's fluffier and more fulfilling than normal rice. If you take indian rice in portions for normal rice, it will help because you're taking less rice to make you full.

brown rice contains more fibers and absorbs cholestrol (er, the unpolished ones) and vitamin b complex to aid digestion.

U mean Indian sambar rice or what?

Indian sambar(parboiled) rice is healthier than our polished rice but parboiled rice tastes like yucks (very yeasty vomit smell to it ick ick)
