will work as PCIE AHCI / PCIE Nvme
Read speed up to 2500MB/s , write 1500MB/s with samsung 950 PRO 512GB.

Fast like no one.

Note: Corrected. some models only, but definitely will be more expensive.

Tips and trick is here :

For all ROG series, to manually MAX all fan speed, press and hold [ Fn+PgUP ]. very good for OC use and dust cleaning. To stop, you will have to shutdown the pc. No other method yet. will update if found any method to stop.
Tested on G752VY with achieving 29'C Idle temperature and still less noise then any other gaming laptop.

GX700Vo officially available at many store now. Pricing start from RM18000 including GST.

Should work only on newer model, tested on G502VT, G752VT, G752VY.
other models not sure yet.

On desktop or in gaming center, press and hold [ Fn+PgUP ]. within 10 second the fan will boost.

sounded like too good to be true.

faster than 980ti sli oc.. or 980 sli? it's hard to believe that they can slap in 2x 1080 in a laptop, unless they have some power mods in place.
*
980TI sli with oc.
Not sure, asus always nail the custom job.
Lets see what it will be in computex.

Hint : same with GX700, water cooling enabled.

with cooling system located externally, yeah excessive heat from cpu / gpu should be well taken care of.

1080 is better than 980 sli (well, not much tbh based on reviews) it's just hard to believe asus can make it faster than 980ti sli. let's see after few days hehe
*
Additional Hint which is allowed to share.

RGB...RGB everywhere especially Keyboard....

Strix....

0DB fan on idle , ideal temperature.....

For GL502V series will have GL502VT which already available in china and Taiwan which is around RM5500 with GTX970m 6GB + I7 6700HQ.

Again, its your personal choice.
Be like others and end up posting for sale on garage or appreciate the beauty and performance like no others (asus).

Survey and research before buy, there are plenty sellers out there offering near supplier price. Don't blind by bullshxts advertisement or cheap ram/ free upgrade offers.

cheers.

Just cramped up my G752VY,
I cant believe that this machine actually did cooling very well.
Tested DOOM 4 MAX out everything with average 60FPS+ ,Raise OF Tomb Raider max out everything again average at 67FPS but experience shuttering after Vram runs out.

Maximum temperature not more than 80'c after 1 hours of game play with stock thermal paste.

for benchmark i use Heaven benchmark 4.0

Before and after Overclock,

32GB DDR4 2400 Kingston HyperX, Samsung 950 Pro x2 512GB = 1TB Raid 0, Bios 213, GTX980M 4GB modified Vbios + latest Nvidia Geforce Driver.

Fail to challenge in what way? Two Titan X Pascals beat two GTX 1080s, much less mobile versions of the GTX 1080s.

looks like i'm wrong, building desktop is much more enjoyable. And in fact asus laptop have less feature to offer with such as prices compared to its competitors.

PM me if/when you are selling your ROG Zephyrus  rclxms.gif

Not for sale, I really love the performance and how portable it is. The first notebook i really loved.

I do have leftover : 8GB 2400 ram and Samsung SM961 512GB that comes with the Zephyrus during purchase. I immediate upgrade to 24Gb ram and 1TB samsung 960EVO from day 1. (over-killed and waste money)
rclxms.gif

I heard Zephyrus will come to Malaysia soon! Comes with 24GB RAM and 1TB SSD pre-installed. The price gonna be Hurt despite the GST and Weak ringgit.
