Finally, Blizzard has announced Australia hosted servers, launching into action October 28. Just in time for the Warlords of Draenor expansion (due November 13!), the servers will improve World of Warcraft‘s latency and overall game experience for players in Australia and New Zealand.

Barthilas, Frostmourne, Thaurissan, Saurfang, Caelestrasz, Jubei’Thos, Khaz’goroth, Aman’Thul, Nagrand, Dath’Remar, Dreadmaul, and Gundrak servers (existing Oceanic realms) will automatically be adjusted to the new hosting. Any WoWers left on North American worlds will be granted free character and guild master realm transfers to these Oceanic servers for a limited time.
