hahaha for those that said sanchez will jump ship after 1 or 2 season are clueless

when he was in Italy they were many clubs wanted him and he let the the club to do the business for him if Udinese keen to sell him then only he will go same with Barcelona
the reason why he left because of the club doesnt need him anymore

at this state i dont think arsenal will sell him

we r no longer in the era of the selling club like last time.

in before Ozil miss last year penalty against Bayern to join them

The story that people make it's hilarious. Sanchez hasn't even said a word i hate this club etc.

If any, this is the first time a club gives him so much priority or starting 11 constantly. Last time at Barca, god knows how he is in the bench while Pedro playing.

Diaby can continue to work as injury test subject at football science lab. The total injury he had is speechless.

Seems like we surely will get 1 CDM this January. Arteta had his contract renewed but I dont think Flamini would be around anymore.

IF still no CDM.. i thumbup.gif doh.gif thumbup.gif doh.gif thumbup.gif doh.gif

It's the boss' responsibility. He selected the whole squad, he selected who's playing, the position they play. He knew who was leaving, who's coming in & as an experienced manager, he shud've anticipated this. Maybe we shudn't blame him, but it's his responsibility. Last time there was no cash, now there's cash, but no player.

I can understand Sanchez's disappointment. It's as if he's the only player with a heart in Arsenal now & he's been with us for a few months. The rest was as if they were just there to make up the numbers, no heart.

I cant brain why Wenger put Monreal as CB instead of Chambers.

Chambers looks more solid and convincing than him as CB.

Well that was quite the fiasco. It had to come to this I guess, and I thought Arsenal has turned a corner.
There's just something missing from Arsenal for the past few seasons, something which without it's just hard to see Arsenal as genuine contenders. Maybe it's the "passion" that most Champions seem to possess. A sense of "anger" and "taking back what's ours sort of thing", the sort of thing United used to be famous for in the 90's.
The squad seems to be lacking this essence, the exception being of course Sánchez among the obvious.

Simply said, lack of leadership on the field.

Flamini possessed that leadership in the past.

But his bad performance these days too far out weight his lack of leadership.

I'd say cesc was the last true leader we had for a few years back. He led by example, spirited, consistent and influential. Before he craved for barca return....adding player like Silvester, PCY and Squillaci only add disappointment to already a demotivated squad.

Flamini - To me his performance is not that bad, but he definitely cannot be a lone DM, not anymore.
..and the BOLD part sums it all.

We can see nobody is screaming to Podolski to close down the opponent that made the cross for the 3rd Anderlecht goal.

Nothing is wrong with Wenger. He is the same Wenger.

..its just that some of the players we have now is not doing enough for him and the club.

It's really not easy when you lose all this key players.. Ozil, Giroud, Jack, Debuchy and Koscielny.
We have yet to have a taste of the full squad. I hope the injury curse will stop already cry.gif

My spider sense is telling me that Per is nearing his expiry date? Like Cannavaro after winning the 2006 World Cup

True this.
After his retirement from international football, his performance became worse. Slower, and can't even win the high balls anymore.
And when you pair him with a left back playing as CB sweat.gif sweat.gif

The only positive thing about our defense is watching Chambers and realize how reliable he is.
So, once everyone is fit, I hope this will be out first choice back 4:
Debuchy-Chambers-Koscielny-Gibbs.

But knowing Wenger, I don't think that will happen tho.
He will still play Per-Kosc.

Next match is Dortmund iirc

I expect they'll rest 1 or 2 key players when they play us. Just play for a draw.
They can trash Anderlecht later at home in the last match.

Still, last night clearly showed how important Arteta is to our system.
Control the flow, the pace of the game, dictate our play from deep, made a few excellent long passes.

No coincidence that our gameplay kucar kacir once he got injured and gone full haywire after he is replaced by Flamini. rolleyes.gif

I believe it's all down to experiences.
Bellerin is too raw.

But still, he could play Bellerin against the lower tier teams, but he didn't cry.gif

'Leader' that refused to train with the squad to force a move. Leader. Keh keh keh rolleyes.gif

Seriously guys, why do we need to mention him when something went wrong with our club?
Leave him alone lah.

star players don't simply leave their club after a season or two. it is very rare to happen, and any club interested would know that such player would jump ship easily, why won't he jumps ship again after buying him?

our defense is such a shame for a club of our level. our emblem is a big ass shield, but we keep leaking goals like no tomorrow. such irony.

really? Think about if clubs like RM, BM, PSG, Mancity waving cash to us, do you think AW will still refuse to sell his best player to them?

The situation now : WE are waving money to these clubs. Ask RM and FCB.
