Saw a documentary in Discovery channel about this...It is a mile's high(1.6 km).It is so big that it can fit bungalows in it and it will also have farms in there too! It is capable of fitting 250,000 people(about the population of the whole of Subang Jaya).It has a lift which can go horizontal and vertical because the tower is too big.It will be built in Shanghai,next to Shanghai tower and Financial Centre>refer in the second pic.

no choice bcause the tower is too tall so it needs more support.

why not? This project is for the growing population of Shanghai.They design it so that it will be stable at extreme heights.

yup,it is wind proof.That's why the design is like that,because it needs to be stable and withstand wind.The design of this building is to withstand wind at extreme heights.
