Hi,

Need game recommendations for fighting, racing and strategy for PC. Prefer on Steam/Origin since I can play anywhere, anytime. I have a NV GT770 at home which I would like to max out on a 2560x1440p monitor.

For fighting games:
Used to be a Street Fighter fan, played all editions from original until SF4, then found Guilty Gear BlazBlue CT and preference shifted to that. SF4 just seems too slow or maybe less flashy then BB. However, the GFWL server shut down, so can no longer play it online. Any ideas on BB like games? I know a lot is available on PS3/4, however since I use steam and origin mostly, I find it a hassle to open the PS3. Not sure if multiplayer still works on the PS3. I want to play persona arena, however that is not going to come to PC anytime soon.

Racing games:
Played every NFS up to NFS Shift 2 unleashed (which was good), then found GT5 (PS3) which was better and found Dirt 2, which was even better. I am now mostly a Dirt 2 fan. Saw Dirt 3, not really like Dirt 2. Do not like that tag event. I was wondering if I should get Dirt 3. GT5 is great, but it is too sterile for me. Finished the game 100% though the 24 hour endurance is madness and something I will not attempt again. Need to be fully awake to play that one-especially using the redbull prototype car. I have a Logitech DFGT wheel. At least with Dirt 2, I can trash the car around. Since going to the wheel, do not feel like going back to keyboard. However, since it is on the wheel, I need to set it up, which sometimes I'm lazy, unless of course the game is really worth it. Is Grid 2 that good? Seen the review, but not sure if I should invest. If there is a rally event then maybe I would do it.

Strategy games:
Played all C&C until games released from 2007 onwards. Wierdly I think C&C games are getting worse and bizarre with release. Found Final Fantasy Tactics which was great. FFTA was not as good as FFT. Found Valkyria Chronicles which was stellar, however i cannot find any game like VC or FFT on PC or android. I have XCOM EU. Gameplay is good, storywise not so good. I have played all Fire Emblem series on the GBA which was on par with FFT. However I still think VC is better and I don't have other nintendo products to play anyway. I finished about 257 hours (according to steam) playing FTL getting all ships. Spent no idea how many more hours on Sim City 4 rush hour. The new sim city has less features than SC4. I did try minecraft, not my kind of game. I find that I much prefer proper strategy then simulation strategy. Bought monaco, whats yours is mine, played with friends. Quite nice. Still not FFT/VC replacement.

I also like games which I can play in short bursts. Used to play FTL/XCOM:EU/BBCT in few 30 min modes. BBCT is a better cure than coffee for keeping awake, especially after dinner and before studying, especially with the online mode.
