Oh btw, just would like to inquire if there is anyone who plays bowling in JB?

If yes, let get together and have a few games every week. icon_rolleyes.gif

How come every 3 months need to change to ball? Do explain?

My personal record is 203 using the new hook ball.

With the plastic ball you get in the bowling alley I struggle to even touch 150. tongue.gif

Yes I agree bowling is an expensive game. But for those who are working, then wont feel the financial effect that much. tongue.gif

HAhah I thought bowling is like cycling, once you know how to hook a ball, you wont ever forget how to do it. Perhaps just get a little rusty. It cant be that bad to start bowling again with a straight ball again. tongue.gif

yeah i agree with the finger thing. My thumb looks extra big compared to the thumb on the non-bowling hand.

Have you guys checked out the new bowling alley at Times Square. 42 inch lcd tv to display your scores. I think there are about 50 lanes available. Should be better then pyramid cause the lanes at Times Square are new.

Lane is new and good. Balls are new. If you have your own ball...I think you would enjoy bowling there. got 42inch plasma for score display. Or was it 42 inch lcd...

Today went to play bowling alone(sad but the urge was too great)

PLayed 6 games.

The first 4 games were good for me.

Scored between 160-180. The last 2 games, totally fxxk it up.

Lol guess I was too tired. Even decided to use a house ball for the last game. Man I sucked using house ball.

If you want to play hook, you need a custom made ball drilled to accomadate your palm and fingers. Else you can never hook with the in-house ball at the bowling alley. smile.gif

I got my ball and drilling at the bowling alley in Bangsar. Can't remember the name of the place already. What Bonzaimy said is correct, you need to drill the ball at different angles, according to what kind of style of bowling you would like to play. Even so, the ball has to be made of a different materials. A plastic ball is meant for straight only. My ball is a radical ball, and if I am not mistaken, the ball tend to give more grip to the lane therefore allowing the ball to curve more. tongue.gif

If I geram and not in good mood, I tend to bowl badly. The best time to bowl is when you feel good, relax and calm. smile.gif Otherwise I just help to clean up the longkang with my ball.

Benzene88 : Been busy with my blog and work. so no time to come lepak in LYN.

Btw, anyone in JB interested to play bowling after raya, PM me.

Thats right. Get those on promotion. Something like clearing out the old models to make way for new ones. Just went and play 6 games today and managed to get the highest at 180. I find it hard to touch 200 these few weeks. dunno y. sad.gif
