what do you guys think about rebel 500? Using the cbr500 twin parallel power plant and producing between 45 to 47 hp. however, its slightly lower than the vulcan s in power department. Seating position is neutral.

Good for commuting in town braving the traffic and occasionally weekend ride? Read somewhere its going to be launched in Malaysia in August. Worth the plunge?

I'm waiting for this one. According to Welly Subang, it'll be on our market next month. RM31k+++  drool.gif  cool2.gif

CBR500 engine - proven engine.  thumbup.gif  More than enough for town ride & occasional weekend leisure ride. Not for super spirited sprint though.  sweat.gif

For spirited ride, need to retune the fork and change the shock. Maybe a remap of existing fuel map.

Try Google K speed Thailand. All the customs parts for the rebel already available at our disposal. 😂 😂

A trip to the surathani perhaps?

Two practical classes - It's just to familiarises with the JPJ test course (titi, cone, etc). Nothing about real riding big cc bike.  whistling.gif  If you're used to ride 250cc, then it should be no issue at all. Most riding school use ER6N. Easy to ride.
Vulcan S can be considered 'big' brother. Bigger in everything.  thumbup.gif Price wise not much different. It's all up to the one whose acquiring cruiser / bobber bike.  biggrin.gif

In your opinion, is vulcan s suitable for commuting to work? It seems little bit bigger and heavier.I believe the handle will be affected more or so.

Would it be suitable for daily ride? Eg From subang to kl via federal highway. As compared to the rebel?
