QUOTE(ho1286 @ Dec 10 2014, 09:10 AM) Guys, need some advise from you all, is it worth to trade HT silver centurion (plus some top up) with HT batman armory only set? centurion around 680-730 PO / released shelf price.. even exclusive version with extra 42 helmet cant go too high since centurion can still get from various sellers.bats armory 1100+ assuming bats armory gets everything including the bats figure.. and top up below 300.. id say its fair.. |

QUOTE(limfreelance @ Dec 10 2014, 01:08 PM) just slightly over 300.. from overall yes it does look Emilie De Rochefort... Capturing her sculpt by not looking too jap nor too caucasion, is not an easy task.. im sure if hot toys take the effort to do her.. she'll be another babydoll |

QUOTE(devilkid84 @ Dec 24 2014, 04:02 PM) if this is your 1st time collecting highend action figure.. be aware that Diecast series arent as play friendly as plastics one..they scratch/scrape easlily if you dont handle with extra care.. |

QUOTE(devilkid84 @ Dec 26 2014, 03:52 PM) thanks for info. yes if you are a frequent/ regular buyer at such shops and you dont hv time or like to window shop what you want..I just checked few online shops offer reward point like toy panic and shioktoys. anyone of you find this reward point benefit? but the points converts to discount is actually very little... thats a marketing strategy to keep customers coming back.. In my book Toypanic gets a plus on free delivery even though its not a courier.. If you are the type who likes to do price comparing between shops online/physical, there are better deals sometimes.. |

QUOTE(devilkid84 @ Dec 25 2014, 01:04 PM) from what i know, diecast normally produce automotive model. so i think it's made from metal. just a precaution.. so that you'd take extra care when moving the figures part.. anyway, if I bought I will be handle it carefully probably need to wear pair of glove when holding it.. especially try avoid parts rubbing/knocking each other when u r trying to pose.. id recommend having a cloth for you to put the figure on while you figure out to move which part and how to pose... or you can use the cloth to put under the part u r moving.. like moving the arm, put cloth under the arm pit to avoid rubbing.. usually ppl are careful at moving the parts of the figure to avoid scratching.. but overlook when they are putting it lying down on the table/bumping the feet with the table surface while doing a pose.. sooner or later realized there are chips, scratch, scrape that happens while we are handling it... |

gst is suppose to replace sales & service tax..
if you PO something at 1000 before gst, shop r not suppose to add another 6% to the 1000 after gst is implemented.. they are suppose to adjust it.. 1000 minus SST 10% then add 6%... but most likely many will abuse this and charge current price which include SST.. and then when item released when gst is implemented add GST somemore.. so you are paying both tax.. |

QUOTE(geelim77 @ Jan 2 2015, 11:02 AM) ya lor…..I would prefer if HT make the vader helmet removable to reveal anakin head sculpt like sideshow version than breathing sound effect which i don't think it is not necessary when in display. If got headsculpt... adding some battle damage parts like he loose his hand wld be nice.. |

QUOTE(devilkid84 @ Jan 10 2015, 03:29 PM) 800. uploaded few pictures which I think quite serious scratches. thats a diecast series.. such wear will happen if you r not super careful when moving the parts... top left-under the armor shoulder got scratches not sure is paint job issue. top right-the left air flap got obvious paint chip off bottom left-the flap below the waist (aka ABS) got scratches. bottom right-The black liner paint job also looks lousy. sorry that im being so captious by the way, is there any specific way to maintain our figures? do we need to polish it like a car? afaik mark42 does not come with scuff/wear effects.. it should be a clean fresh looking suit.. but its used, price under released price.. its fair as its minor... if you r worried about paint chip n scratch.. you cld try non diecast like siver centurion & Heart Breaker.. im sure they are more fun to pose with least worries of scratch/paint chip.. |
