I know you guys are hard at work creating the new system for posting in RWI,but lately theres been alot of "newbies" registering, and opening useless threads which aim to bash or ask stupid inane questions which no one feels is warranted to be opened in RWI.

i just want to ask, cant the admin/staff lock the RWI forum to new members?

atleast those who have below 100/250/500 posts or have just registered.

the quality of threads in RWI now seems on par with kopitiam! shakehead.gif

effective immediately, all new topics in RWI will require to be approved. More measures will be introduced to clean up RWI in the days to come.

happy4ever reported it just over 2 hours ago. We don't exactly sit in front of our monitors and refresh user submitted reports, but we will endeavour to tend to them ASAP.

The thread has been dealt with by a moderator, so we thank you for your concern. However, it is generally accepted that post counts do not determine the quality of posts, and as such a post count deterrant will be ineffective (unless trolls come in). We are however still open to suggestions on improving the forum for everyone. smile.gif

OMG dont do that man......

How about "new user" wanted to post in RWI are required to be approved/consent from mods (once only)...
eg... user xxxxx wants to post in RWI for 1st time, shall requires mods to check for thier posts created to make sure they dont post rubbish...
That only only takes few hours up to 1 day to get approved rite?

Its done already and its working like a charm. We've chucked out 3 or 4 threads which don't deserve to be there and would have created huge flame wars before anyone could see it. The average time it takes for a thread created to be approved/disapproved is no more than a few hours.
