Regardless of VA or IPS ,  these are edge lit TV which means they not an ideal TV for darker rooms anyway .

VA has better contrast but they are not anywhere near OLED's true black 's level .
You will not notice these difference in a typically lit room , just like majority of the people are fine with their IPS monitors .

Yes, the Chinese keyboard supports the first character of Ping Ying. For example if you type A, it could mean 啊，阿 etc. I'm only using Pana remote to type
