Go for 65". Get a HDR 10bit panel.  cool2.gif

Grab few ULTRA HD BDs. Buy the midrange Panasonic ULTRA HD BD player.

Then Enjoy your life with this setup  thumbup.gif

2017 Series seems discontinued 3D support except few high spec models blush.gif

Do you know what is the panel (VA or IPS) used for the 65" EX600? I think there is mix of panel types for different sizes of EX600, some sizes with IPS and some with VA. The black level of EX600 is quite good from my own observation and I think it is a VA panel.

No idea but you can Google it  cool2.gif

Buy Buy !!

It is difficult to confirm from google. Panel type is never mentioned, Pana website only mention it is "Super Bright Panel" and different markets are with different specs. But I'm quite sure it is VA panel for the 65" from touching it biggrin.gif

But the model I like is not EX600 but the EX750. Unfortunately I think there is no 65" for EX750 in Malaysia... cry.gif

Is TH40es501k a good buy? It is now RM1599 at Aeon. Actually I still not very sure what's the difference in between smart tv and android tv.
can smart tv watch video via youtube?
*
You can get this TV at RM1480 if you buy on Lazada. TV at this size is just a basic low end TV, there won't be much different between all the major brands, check it out yourself and compare the picture quality.

Smart TV basically means there are smart features on the TV, android is just one of the OS for the smart TV, Sony and Sharp TVs are using android OS. Panasonic TV is using Firefox, Samsung Tizen and LG WebOS.

Good luck deciding on the EX750, either a 58 or 75( super expensive)  biggrin.gif

58" too small, 75" will cost as much as 65" OLED, might as well take the OLED. sad.gif

FYI for someone looking for the the EX750. Senheng don't carry 58", only 75". Panashop in PJ don't carry as well. Checked with Panashop in Klang, RM5899.

You can find both sizes in Harvey Norman. Only problem is no 65".

Panasonic 4K TV with calibrated also not bad. To certain extend, it's pretty impressed in HDR mode when watching Ultra HD movie and PS4 Pro contents.  thumbup.gif

Both LG and Samsung need a flagship model to out standing others. But Overpriced  cry.gif  wub.gif

Right, from my personal view, the low end 65" EX600 is better than Samsung MU6100, at least the panel support 10 bit vs 8 bit for the Samsung. The EX750 will be excellent, PQ is better than the MU series of Samsung and only loose to the QLED, the only problem is there is no 65" model for local market.

My viera TV (TH-L47ET5K) A Board failed, checked by Panasonic official technician, no more spare part (a board) in Panasonic Malaysia .
Anyone have any suggestion that I can sent to where to repair?

For local market If not wrong only LG OLED series TV support Dolby Vision.

From Dolby site only LG and Vizio support Dolby Vision. The list is not update because latest LG C7 is also support Dolby Vision.

Dolby vision is supported on all the LG high end LED (7,8 & 9 series) and OLED TVs since 2016. Unfortunately there is still very very few Dolby Vision movies. I have got only the demo videos to test the Dolby Vision.

It is a good news that Sony added Dolby vision support to their new high end TVs as well.
