since haven’t got any reply from the 65” tv recommendation thread, I have to diy by google & found out something quite interesting.

https://www.flatpanelshd.com/article.php?su...l&id=1520424154

https://www.pocket-lint.com/tv/news/panason...d-panasonic-tvs

I can’t find this hdr10+ on Malaysia official site but Singapore version is available for future firmware update.

https://www.panasonic.com/sg/consumer/telev...h-65fx600s.html

so I bought the 65fx600k at senq b4 SST & hope for the firmware update also cover this hidden feature.

from 55” to 65”

It shouldn't be a very big deal , because the TVs of this range are unable to deliver convincing HDR effects to begin with .
You can hardly tell the difference between HDR10+ or HDR10 since the TV is still struggling with the lack of WCG and good brightness levels.

You will however notice some colors improvement on these TV when HDR content is playing .

There are also very limited amount of HDR 10 + content right now for this to be a deal breaker . Since you have already made your purchase , just enjoy your TV smile.gif

Avengers War Infinity in 4K HDR was not bad. Worth download if you had a decent 4K HDR TV. cool2.gif

I know right , my eyeball was almost exploding from all the crazy colors popping out from the screen.
Especially when they show the infinity stones hologram in Dr Strange's Mansion , they almost look 3d - ish rclxm9.gif

Still waiting for my 4K blu-ray copy to ship from Amazon nod.gif and then I will re-watch the whole thing again.

Yeah I did call to check. If the main board is damage than the repair will cost a lot to fix. OLED is very different technology compare to plasma. I won’t say is better but it has its advantage

My plasma Vseries still going like energizer bunny...lol

Oled is still kinda expensive for 65in...waiting for the price to drop further.

If you want to repair, you could ask a guy here in LYN who does the repair work...i have seen many had asked for tv repairs

Asking for comparison with other brands in their respective thread , you will almost never get an honest answer , just like you are asking for opinions of LG TVs in a Sony thread.

As mentioned before , direct-lit and edge-lit should NOT be a concern as neither of the TV has any proper dimming system , they will have very little impact in terms of PQ performance .

Hi All,

Anyone here is using Panasonic TH-55FX600K 55" 4K UHD Smart TV?

Do you have issue with the TV sound ?

because the current TV speakers ,the voice from the actor sounds like they're whispering and i had to increase the volume till very high to hear what they said and suddenly BOOM !!!!! sound effect blasting through my hall

Is this normal ?

Have you try to connect the TV to external speakers / soundbar just to see if the problems still exist ?
